I just taught my friends daughter to drive manual with mine. When I had my C6 I taught several kids to drive it.
Back "in the day" I had a '65 365 HP 4 Sp, coupe. We lived in the D.C. suburbs, and my wife had a 68 Plymouth Satellite, (automatic).
She taught computer programming to a group of deaf students, and I picked her up one day while the kids were still there. They went 'nuts' for my car. Nancy wanted so bad to drive the Vette to school one day, so I taught her to drive a 'stick' in that Vette. Mind you, simply pushing the clutch in back in those day was a chore. She learned, and drove the Vette to school (about 35 miles around the D.C. Beltway. (big time traffic). I think she was a favorite teacher to them from then on. She got a lot of respect I know that.
When my C7 was new, my wife was going to take it to see friends to show it off and I was OK with that but before she left I told her that if she put a ding in it to stop by the mortuary and make arrangements for her funeral. She refuses to drive it since. I( asked her what shew would do wityh the vette if something happened to me and she said she would drive it. JEEZ
Just my wife. I let my boss sit in the passenger seat so he knew what I was doing with the money he gives me. In retrospect, that may have been a poor choice lol.

LMAO.
The owner of my company has not seen mine yet, but his brother has, so he may or may not know about it. He's a car guy himself so I'm sure he'd be happy for me. He has a Ford GT and a real Cobra 427 among his collection.

I had to read this again to figure out who was the boss and who was the wife.
My wife was the only person to drive my 2014 Stingray besides me. She drove it four or five times max in 4 years.
My wife has drove my 18 Grand sport once.
Both are M7 cars. Right after I traded the 14, my oldest daughter said "dang you never let me drive the Stingray" My reply was you never asked. Had she asked I would have let her drive it. All my girls can drive manuals.
I haven’t let anybody drive my Corvettes going back 20 years. I did, however, let a Russian dude (customer) visiting my company take my Harley out. He almost dumped it as he was leaving. He came back 4 hours later with the same giddy smile you saw on your neighbor.
OH! I almost forgot this but my exwife used my 2004 LeMans Blue convertible to move furniture with the top down. I didn’t know about this plan until I saw the car full of stuff. The stuff was stacked up and left dents in the upholstery backing. This was in 2005, the car was new as can be and we were married at the time. She couldn’t understand why I was pissed.
Since then, I keep keys in a locked box and hide the key for that box.
