Brought the car home yesterday, ordered today. One drive with the top down was enough.

I bought and installed the stop flop. First time I tried to use it I purchased a bottle of Mountain Dew. Mind you, I don’t drink the dew often but i wanted one anyways. The bottle wasn’t even close to fitting. The bottom barely fit at the top of the stop flop. Also, I installed it correctly but the lid bumps part of the stop flop and it rubs every time I close the lid. I’m uncertain as to if I will keep it in the car. I think I expected more from it for the cost of 47 dollars. Unless what ever your drinking has a narrow base, the drink won’t fit! Just my 2 cents.

Hi, if the lid is bumping the cup holder then its not centered.. If its centered then theres almost 1/4 inch room on each side.

FYI, just the injection molds cost $9000 never mind development and inventory. also there is some value to the design! No one else attempted to make these!

Received it, and what a great addition to the traveling comforts. Took it inside and found two insulated travel cups that fit nice and snug. I did have to use a piece of sturdy foam to stabilize it in the OEM Opening. Great product, highly recommend it.

Acknowledgement: I had to use the foam by my choice. I did not want to use the provided sticky Velcro on the bottom, other wise I'm sure it would remain in place. I stand by my recommendation that Stop Flop is a great product and I would buy this product again.

When you place it in the OEM console cup holder hole, it slides (moves) around. I simply used a stiff piece of packing foam to hold it in place. Maybe I'll get a pic for ya.

I bought this product a couple of weeks and ago and would call it an overall decent product. The install worked perfectly, but when I raise it up it won't lock into place. Every time I put a cup in it I have to hold the sleeves up. Also doesn't fit the 32oz stainless steel cups.

Hi, did you raise each cup up until you feel a pop before installing as that lets you know they are now in the locked position and more important, how much pressure to use after its installed. There are 3 small raised nubs inside the first 2 cups, these are the locking tabs.Since this part of the mold is small it might take a bit of pressure to lock them but the more you lock it the easier it will lock.Let me know and if your still having difficulity i will send you a new one that more easy to lock.

Stop Flop Bump to the top.

After speaking with Dave of Stop Flop I wanted to post a follow up to my previous "update post 120 & 144". I posted that I had to use a piece of foam to keep it in place. That is because I chose not to use the Velcro sticky bottoms that are provided with the product.

Acknowledgement: I had to use the foam by my choice, other wise I'm sure it would remain in place. I stand by my recommendation that Stop Flop is a great product and I would buy this product again. If you own a C7, this is a must have product.

I wish Dave and the Stop Flop team continued success.

Dave,

Thanks for the reply. I went out to the car and checked the cup holder. I don't see any nubs. Like I said in my post, the installation went perfectly, but when I raise the cup holder to the full position, it will mostly stick in the up position, but definitely doesn't lock. If I put in a large cup it will sometimes collapse, but other times remain up.
