How much more proof do you need to see that it does exactly what everyone says it does... I have yet to see one bad review or unhappy or even slightly dissatisfied customer.
The TB I want doesn't work with the stock intake tube. I don't feel comfortable putting an intake on my car without a tune. So I will just wait until I am ready to lose my warranty and do the TB, intake, and tune all at once.

AH i see you have a Z. How long till your warranty is done? maybe mike will work with you? pretty sure he sells a TB that does not need a adapter a smaller "bolt on " size for lt4.

Man.. knowing the difference between OEM and mikes TB i personally wouldn't let a couple hundo keep me from going for it. You could always sell once your ready to do the intake and bigger TB.

I will tune it before the warranty is up. Its a 19Z with 3900 miles. I'm having an issue with the car randomly not starting. Its going to go in at some point because something is going to fail. I don't want them to have any reason to blame me for it. I just want to get a few thousand miles on it without any major issues before I tune it. He does sell a smaller TB, I just don't want to buy two TB's. My goals wont be cheap, the last thing I want to do is upgrade parts twice. I know the TB's are legit, I just wanted to know If I would benefit using the controller on the stock TB.

Totally get.....I guess my point is you won't loose much coin selling a slightly used soler TB. But yeah i hear yeah.

Since your having random starting issues i'd even hold off on the TC until all that is figured out.

I guess I wasn't making myself clear. Most of the people are discussing the ptb. I purchased a ptb and controller from Mike last week. I removed a Tony Mamo and replaced it with a Soler. What I was trying to decide is whether to swap the controller out before I go to VIR next week. I'm not sure how dramatic the change it makes is. I've decided to wait until after VIR to try it. I've got a little over 100 miles on the Soler so far and have sold the Mamo. So far I'm very happy with the new throttle body.

Running a Mamo PTB, BMS filter, Akro exhaust on my stock tune '19 Z. Curious as to the differences/improvements when you went to the Soler unit?
Wondering what the differences truly are between the Mamo, Katech, and Soler PTBs.

I have a 2015 Z51 with a Procharger n custom tune. Car is pushing 725HP as it sits now. Not sure a TB will be noticeably different for me but will I notice a difference with your TC unit?

I haven't tried the Katech. I had the Mamo for 2 years. The Soler, for me, performed better. The Mamo took a lot of the off idle stumble out of my car. The Soler took even more. It was enough difference that I sold the Mamo. For some it may not be. I liked the Mamo and it is a big improvement over the stock throttle body. The Soler just performs better to me. I have no idea what, if any, difference either of them make at wide open throttle.

I had not noticed any difference with this controller installed and was considering contacting Soler. Then I got an email from them that some units had been shipped in fail safe mode and they gave instructions to fix it. I followed the instructions and wow is all I can say. What a great product. Thanks Mike for recognizing an issue and being proactive with your customers. The car now responds like it should have from GM.

I already have a Soler PTB and loooove it. I guess I should try the TC for only $75. 🤔🤔

If I had to have one or the other it would be the PTB. I got that first and then installed the controller. The combo changes the whole feel of the car off idle.

If anyone is still deciding, go for the TB. I just put one one my Z51 and it is a WORLD of difference.
No more of that vague mushy **** at throttle tip in.. I've got about 600 miles on the car now with the new TB and it seems to be locked in perfectly.

Mike was awesome to work with and answered all my questions on the phone.

Made my car much more predictive and consistent!

I'm very happy with my Soler TB too. My only suggestion is to also consider adding one of the electronic throttle controllers to really tweak the response to your liking. The combination is really great. (But if only one, do the Soler TB)

Would this product eliminate the need for the Range device?

Assuming you're talking about the AFM disabling device? If so then no, this has nothing to do with that. Totally different systems.

This throttle body allows for more air to flow earlier, eliminating the horrible lag/stumble upon first hitting the throttle.

Rckt, like Spanky said. Our products won't disable AFM. In my personal case, AFM works great in my 2015 A8, I have TB+TC. Try these, and if you think you still need an AFM disabler go for it.

Thanks.

Mike@Soler - I had the same concern with the short wires. Why not make these longer so the controller box can be run up above the carpet line?

Thanks, Bob
