Do either/or both the tb and tc void the warranty? I have a brand new Z06 (a month old) and want to keep the warranty in tact. But I certainly notice the lag when I hit the accelerator and I’ve seen so many reviews here from people who say these products work so well. I’m definitely interested but hesitant.

I just put in the Soler TB also. Left the battery disconnect for about 10hours over night. I noticed a difference pretty quick after the initial learning phase. To me, the car wakes up a bit quicker. The car itself feels quicker. Not a "HOLY BATSHIT BATMAN" emotional response...but more like, "Mmmmmm yeeea. That feels juuuuust right". Perhaps a placebo effect...but I swear my exhaust sounds a touch more enhanced as well.

I have ZERO other engine mods...just this TB.......................so far.

The three differences I’ve noticed after installed the Soler TB. Better tip in throttle feel, quicker and harder acceleration when going from a constant speed to accelerating and last is that when down shifting the down shifts feel smoother and there’s less engine braking which causes less disruption to the suspension.

I would not want to go back to driving a M7 LT1 without a high flow air filter, Soler TC and a Soler TB.

I've only put about 25 miles on the car and about three driving cycles since the install of the TB and K & N air filter. Plan to drive it the next three days. I do notice a slight difference in the tip in throttle from 1st. Will see if I get harder acceleration when going from constant speed like you are describing Plumber. Going to give it more time...

Hey and if not, Soler (Mike) is awesome and I’m sure he will do whatever it takes to make you happy. Be it, give you your money back plus a stock TB or giving you another one of he’s ported TB’s.

Did the exact thing, but also added a Diablew tune and it was frosting on the cake.

I even noticed another perk. I go to cruise nights sometimes in the summer. Before the Soler, going at a crawl in a lot was a pain, the lag with supercharger was actually jerky at a crawl. The Soler has made it so I can literally crawl slow with no jerkiness at all.. even linear at slow speed...I swear this thing might make excellent Julian French Fries as well

I had thought about doing something similar. Is your only engine mod the TB? Maybe a filter too?

Agreed. I'll make this comment regarding mine...

The "get up and go" in Tour mode NOW feels like Sport mode before the TB.

Sport mode feels quicker too.

I daily drive my car so I knew it's behavior and feel VERY well. Swapping into this TB was an immediate noticeable change for me. After install, the more you drive the more the car learns the new TB. It takes a little time.

Travlee, glad to hear the TC made an improvement. Jeep, Soler TB and K & N drop-in only engine mods. Also, as I read about you explaining the difference in touring mode and sport mode in your Vette, something occurs to me. My Vette is stock with no ride control or performance exhaust. I added a Corsa axle back a few months ago, however changing the modes do nothing in my car (accept for E). I'm starting to thing the Soler TB really only benefits a Vette where the driving modes actually change something. Mine doesn't. Mike if you're reading this is that a possibility?

I’ll ask again, do either of these products void the factory warranty?

Ordered my TB yesterday for my M7 Z. Couldn’t take the tip in throttle lag another day. I’ll do the TB first and see the differences after the ECM “learns”. I’lll add the TC a few weeks from now.

Only if you have a problem which GM can establish was caused by the mod.

Even then your warranty is not voided. Rather, you do not get warranty coverage for the specific problem caused by a mod.

I installed the Soler TB on a bone stock M7 Stingray and noticed immediate improvement...
Regarding your situation, given the high percentages of owners reporting improvement it could be a bad unit which I believe Mike will make right, and am also wondering that since the TB is part of the overall engine airflow system could the minor intake/exhaust mods you made be incompatible with it? Interested to hear the outcome.

Well I researched the K & N air filter ( part E-0665 high performance air filter) and heard good things and it was compatible. The air filter is definitely of higher quality that the stock yellow OEN one from Thailand. As far as the exhaust goes, it was a Corsa Sport axle back and installed professionally. At this point I have no idea what to do...

First Stingray:

The drive mode selector will still make changes to your car even tho you're not a Z51 or have Mag Ride. It should change the throttle mapping. For example, the rate of RPM spool up in T or W is less then what S and Tr will give you.

I understand. I notice very little, if any difference in throttle mapping when I change from T, S or Track. That is why I added the Soler TB. Unfortunately I still don't notice a significant change; if any really. There is no noticeable difference in RPM surge or throttle response with the drive modes, even now with he Soler TB. Of course E mode is different. I've driven close to 100 miles with it and still waiting for something nice to happen.....
