Of course E mode is different. I've driven close to 100 miles with it and still waiting for something nice to happen.....
2019 GS here. I also notice no difference when I change modes. I drove around for a hour when I bought the car constantly changing modes and paid great attention to the throttle responses in each mode, I felt none.

I recently installed the Soler ported throttle body (TB) and throttle controller (TC) and have favorable results. I have a 2018 GS M7. I originally had a Tony Mamo throttle body on my vette and it performed better than the stock throttle body. Most of the tip in hesitation was eliminated but not all. I did add a Magnusson Super Charger so, I opted for the LT4 Soler TB. Installation was simple and actually, the TC took longer than the TB because i couldn't decide where to mount it. I installed the TC first and no issues and no codes. In the sport setting, I could tell that the throttle response was greatly improved. Installed the TB and went through the learn procedure and again no codes and idle was fine. After driving, there is definitely a big difference in "seat of the pants" feel . With the TC in stock OE mode, which really simulated just the TB, the car is much more linear/smoother. Then adjusting the TC mode to sport, a huge difference and in fact, you need to be careful as the response is instant and need to get used to it. I backed it down to comfort mode, which is slightly more responsive then stock. Will likely switch back and forth depending on the type of spirited driving i'm doing. So in conclusion, my experience with the Soler TB and TC so far is very good and it makes a big difference. I recommend it.

i pulled the carpet back and pushed the box and plugs through the hole, so mine is flat under the carpet behind the gas pedal. worked perfect for me

Mike,

I am not finding the "mode" button you are referring to. Is it on the steering wheel or is it the mode select button you are referring? Is it somewhere on the infotainment system? The throttle body learning instructions you sent said nothing about calibration. Please elaborate as I have not calibrated anything and that must be why I am seeing no throttle difference in your new TB. Thanks!

Sorry, please disregard my answer. I'll go ahead and delete it. I skimmed over the text too quickly and thought you were talking about our throttle controller.

You are both right, it is hard to tell the difference in throttle response using the car modes, hence the need for a controller like ours that actually makes a substantial difference between modes.
