Great looking install. I should receive my TC later in the week. How did you run the wire to that location?

Thanks

This is how I did it .....
Remove the Console Lid (3 Screws)
Remove side trim, starting at the back and working your way towards the Front. Be careful at the front area, if you pull it out you can break the Tab. you have to pull toward the back of the Car.
Slightly ease up the Center console, I used a 1/8" Round File to create a small half round notch for the Wire. Fish the Wire through and it is done.
When the Lid is closed you do not see the Wire and there are no pinch points.
Probably sounds more complicated than it really is.

I had a harder time connecting the Unit to the Accelerator Pedal due to space restrictions.
All said and done, I love the combo, the Car feels alive. Current Setting is at SP.1

Thank you for this. Makes me a little nervous pulling the side trim off. Did you use any specific tool for this?

You are welcome.I used a Plastic Trim removal Tool.
There is a YouTube Video showing the dashboard removal on a C7 , perhaps look at that first.
I was a bit nervous too but take your time and handle it carefully, don't force anything .

My Throttle Controller came in today. Just completed the install and I installed mine like you did. That’s a nice, clean way to do it. Thanks for the instructions. It really was a piece of cake.

" The Plate" is actually the same piece of Foam that the Unit is shipped in. I just cut is as close to the profile of the Center Console and wrapped it in Black Fabric. No need for Two Way Tape and it stays in place.

Talk about “Bang for the buck”. I couldn’t be any happier with this.

I bought a TB and the controller at the same time. After waiting for two weeks for them to arrive (sat at the Mobile Postal Distribution Center for 10 days) and for two weeks on me to get around to installing, they are both in. I installed the TB first and could see some drivability improvements right away.

Next came the controller. Took me longer than expected due to poor mobility/flexibility and pain, due to still recovering from a surgery that went horribly wrong in July. Mike suggest SP5 for a setting and I believe it is spot on.

Like I said, I was a little challenged being down in the floorboard, so I didn’t get fancy with the location, but I actually like where it ended up.

I located my controller above and centered to the HUD controller. I can see it and adjust as I want. Now back to the controller. It is incredible, makes driving so much more fun. Don't know what you are missing!

Does the TB and TC have the same improvements with an A8 as it seems to have with a M7?

I have an A8 and it is night and day comparison. Someone here said it was like driving on 4:10s and it is. Throttle response is crazy!

Do you have to do a core for the throttle body ? Just ordered the controller. Can't wait to set it up.

I just installed the Soler Throttle Controller and it was a little hard to believe all the raving reviews for something this cheap and so simple to install. Well.......Boy, was I very wrong. It works as advertised. I initially set it at SP.2 and just hung on. Night and day change. I think I may have floored the accelerator a little too long at setup as I got the yellow check engine light. Just disconnected the battery for 15 minutes and all is good now.

I'm a no HUD dud so I bought an extra panel, riveted in a bracket and attached. Easy to pop in and out if I ever have to go to the shop.
