Just going to chime in, I don't own either the TB or controller. My Z06 is my first manual and even I notice the strange lag when getting on it and the tendency to stall even with 650 hp/torque.
A friend helped me out with my Corvette purchases and he got a TB and controller for his Z51 convertible (manual) and I took it for a spin.
Wow was it night and day. The TB definitely helped eliminate the stalling issue and the controller was insane, I tried it in what is basically the equivalent of a sport setting (I don't remember the exact level) and it was crazy, I can't even imagine putting it into its more aggressive settings but it definitely solved all lag issues in my mind.
I just finished the installation and went for a test drive. Mode sp4. Holy crap the response is insane. It was defaulted at sp6 setting and I had to bring it down.
the z06 should have came this way from factory.
I’m glad it is adjustable, because there is no way you can drive the car in sport setting if it is raining.
this is by far the best bang for the buck upgrade I”be bought so far. The range AFM is the second
I just installed my controller and Wow! What a difference in throttle response. One issue I have noticed is how it may be effecting the clutch. I've noticed when I downshift my M7 Stingray with active rev match on I hear a clunking noise. I don't hear it when downshifting with rev match off and the controller setting is SP 5. I have reached out to Mike at Soler but have not heard a response. Anyone know if this is an issue or have experienced this? I the higher throttle setting having an issue with the clutch when downshifting? Thoughts? Thanks.
Also, couple more questions before I install mine. Is this going to affect the warranty coverage? (I would assume so). Will Onstar be able to detect this when I get a report?

From everything I have read, no it will not affect your warranty. It is wise though to remove the controller part before taking it in for any warranty work. Anyone, please correct me is I am wrong.
Also, if you have the controller set for aggressive throttle response it would be a good idea to turn it down to the OEM setting. You do not want to unpleasantly surprise the techs with a jumpy throttle.
I notice that my GS throttle can be delayed in stock form. For instance, I let off the pedal and am surprised by a delayed throttle blip a half a second later. This only happens during playful driving. What the heck is that all about and will this controller correct that?
2 things I see but it may be just the pictures. 1) looks like the cable would benefit being plugged into the left side of the controller verses the right side. Looks like the cable would run better and be a cleaner fit
2) any chance (I don't know the size of the controller) that the controller could be located in the pop up power point in the center console?
I think I am going to have to buy one. Too many positive responses to pass on. Thanks folks!
I've installed both the Soler Throttle Body and Throttle Controller (M7, Z51).
The Throttle Body made idle smooth and totally removed the "chugging" in first gear at low speeds. Also, helped in traffic. I ran with the Throttle body for 2 weeks before installing the Throttle Controller.
Let me tell you -- it's like driving a new car in SP(.3-.5) mode. It's how the throttle should have been programmed in the first place. I've also noticed I've only hit the 1-4 lockout once since using the Throttle Controller.
The combination of both was the best $370 I've spent on this vehicle. I'm just upset I didn't do it right away.
Also, I've emailed Mike a few times with questions I've had and he has given super fast response times (even when I believe he was at Carlisle).

It depends on what side of the steering wheel you happen to mount it.
The right side is perfect for my installation. For others the left would indeed be better.
I have the 2019 Grand Sport with multipul driving settings, Tour, Sport, Track, Wet. How does the Soler TC settings affect those should I go from Tour to Wet for example. Does it over ride the cars settings and just use the Soler TC or does it allow the car to adjust for Wet conditions for example?

On another thread, Mike from Soler indicated that selecting OE (which mimics the OEM throttle response) or EC (with lower than OEM throttle response) mode when selecting Wet setting will work...
May have been covered on another thread but can't find it.........Just received mine and will be installing tomorrow. Once I install, can I set controller to where it drives the best for me and then remove/unplug and store the controller so I don't have to worry about mounting it? Will it still work being unplugged? Does it store a memory?

Mike may drop in with the latest and greatest info, but my experience has been the TC display can be removed if the car is powered off COMPLETELY (as indicated by the digits on the TC extinguishing - takes a few seconds after powering the car down) I think you could remove the TC display and reinstall it BEFORE powering the car up.
I made the mistake of disconnecting the TC while the car was powered up and it really messed with the car. It worked for a while, then threw CEL, brake and traction control annunciators and a P2138 code, then went into limp mode... In theory the code will reset after three successful start cycles or disconnecting the battery for 10+ minutes, but neither got the problem to disappear, so Mike is sending a replacement.
My suggestion would be to get a tuner to do it. I would stay away from all those electric throttle controllers. After a few months mine kept going into limp mode. and had the throttle get stuck several times and that was scary. I had my car tuned and throttle lag disappeared worth the money and have never had a problem since. Peace of mind, how much is that worth trust me!
