Well I am not sure. People can choose a C7 or a C8, what ever they want to do is o.k. Some men like to wear high heels and a skirt and change their name from Don to Donna as well.
I'm going to be mummified and placed in the drivers seat with one hand on the shifter and the other one holding the steering wheel and buried in this thing. I would consider buying a C8 Z06 but that is too many years in the future...

I don't know anyone who mummifies a body these days. The Egyptians who did it are long dead. If you were the first guy, it might make a sensation. THIS guy already did it so you would be a copycat. Problem with today's method is you have to be exhumed every so often as stated HERE.

There isn't going to be a C8 Z06. GM is pulliing the plug on it because of emissions standards. Apparently the next possibility is a C9 Z06 fully electric. Hold onto your C7 Z and don't let go.

They have enough people carping about the "No Manual" in the C8 so I don't think they will be fully electric. Maybe electric is going to be an option for testing the market would be my guess. Who knows. Maybe the Z06 will be the test bed and see how popular it will be. Base and Z06 both electric at the same time, I don't see.

Like I said, if I have to explain it to you, you'll never understand.
Nope. Nothing challenging to understand.
I own multiple motorcycles. However none are slow, lumbering, Harleys.
If you like them, this is fine. I will not insult you by claiming you do not understand. I assume everyone here is fully capable of understanding a motorcycle.

Shiril, sorry to ruin your and some other's day on here, but you evidently you didn't 'get it', that announcement was an April Fools joke. The C8 Z06 is alive and well. Might be a good idea to stop spreading miss-information. https://carbuzz.com/news/chevrolet-p...n-corvette-z06

You got to admit that it's credible when you see what is going on these days

Not really considering the article came out on April 1st. I think many if not most got it.
GM is not going to cancel production on a sportscar that's received rave international reviews and pre-production, dealers have already received more deposits to be on wait lists for purchase than Z06s will most likely ever be built.
