I just cannot get past the looks.. I know I just never will... not more power than my Z.. + don't want a flat plane engine for the street anyway.. I am glad some folks like it.. but many just do not that's the beauty of freedom of choice.. well.. until they take it away from us I guess lol

Right behind the window is where they sometimes wrinkle. Yours seems to be a little but not bad.
My C5's wrinkled my C6's wrinkled and my C7's wrinkled. No big deal at all. I do agree when I park it in the garage I always leave the top up. Also their is no impossible way to get the wrinkles out. When you buy it new never put the top down and you would not have any wrinkles but in that case why even buy a convertible.

I don't know how long the bubble will last. I'd cash out otherwise you own a C8 at inflated price and will sell a C7 at deflated price.
These are toys to me. They're not my life or my means of transportation for work. I have fun by this hobby of Corvette. I'm not in it for or because of what they cost. Were I into them as investments, I'd of been flipping C8s for years.

I am not into investing in cars myself but I sure as hell don't want to be the one standing when the music stops. Just because it is a hobby doesn't mean I have to take a bath.

I don’t stress over what you do....
As long as cars are your hobby, you'll be taking a bath. Esp the ones I believe that you've mentioned, anyway. (C4, C7 old Mercedes.....)
I own what I love myself... don't care one bit about resale ...not with my toys
Bingo!
It's the only vice I have, spending A LOT of $$$ on vehicles/TOYS! I buy whatever I want to these days. The poverty days were 49+ years ago. It's Game On nowadays!

Dumped the C4 and not keeping any Mercedes or cars over 15 anymore. Salt eats it up before the engine breaks. Yes, I understand that more it ages, the less it is worth. Sure, you may have to take a loss but if you can avoid it, why not? I never was willing to take a bath on a transaction. Some loss for the fun I had, sure.
