I don't have access to a dyno anymore, but I plan to take the car back to the track VERY SOON
Stock car with aero kit ran 121.90
Mods now are
TSP heads milled to 12.1 CR
TSP LTs/xpipe no cats
E85 flex fuel
Custom CAI being fed cool air from z06 grill
My ported intake/TB
My tuning

Hoping for 10.7x with a 1.6x 60 at around 130
Have around $2500 in mods

Car weighed 3300lbs with me in it 1/8 tank of fuel, it's about 50lns lighter and if I was guessing a number around 500rwhp

Damn, you have milled heads? I'm very curious to see what you lay down. I would love to trap 127mph, let alone 130+

I actually went with the TSP heads with there CNC program and I decided on .015 milling which puts it roughly 12.1 CR. Stock heads move around 295cfm at our factory bore and these heads move around 360 with increased flow over factory even at low lifts.

I have had a few PMs about the induction system and AFR on this engine as well, and this weekend I will share some pics, just been really busy.

Just a little info for anyone tuning on E85, don't look at the units in AFR that will just confuse you, look at it as Lambda.
For example factory stoich is 14.10
14.10 X .90 Lambda =12.69 which is what I would target roughly on this engine being DI. This value may look slightly rich, buts its on the lean side considering the stoich of 14.10. For example gasoline we use to have is 14.68 X.90 = 13.2
I tend to shoot for .85-.86 on MOST Port Injection motors and as a programmer I am still learning on DI and the car seems to be running great at .90 lambda (thanks Dsteck for advising that)

best power for E85 is a little richer than regular pump E0 or E10...
.90 lambda would be great for E10 but I went back down to .85 for E85 in the low-mid RPMs and lean out to .88 up top. Just my 2.

how much spark timing are you running at wot with 12:1?

So quick question, I know everyone is buying the Flex sensor, but what vehicles (2014 or 2015) actually still use the sensor? Everything I have tuned uses the Virtual Sensor.....so why not just enable the Virtual Sensor in your tune and save yourself from buying and installing more hardware?

Anyone tried this?

I purchased the 2014 GenV truck sensor, and to be honest i have not heard anything about a "virtual Sensor" just working without hardware. Can you elaborate?

Is there a physical sensor in the tunes that have virtual sensor enabled?

If you look in the tune on the drop down menu for Flex sensor, there is an option for Sensor and Virtual. The Diag section also does not enable a physical sensor.

My understanding is that Virtual uses the fuel trims to find the right cell in the stoich table and does not use a sensor.

This is exactly what my 2015 2500HD 6.0L does as well as my old 2011 1500. I will have to check one of the 2014 1500 5.3 DI tunes I have.

Higgs I am currently running 21 at peak tq and 22 past pq tq on 93 and I add up to 5 degrees on E70 and above.
When I was stock CR I was running 23 and 25 degrees (6% alcohol)
I'm still running the factory plugs, but I'm keeping ECT roughly 165 degrees and its breathing pretty good through the induction and exhaust.

cool, thanks! I am only running about 19-20 on E85, you are running 26-27?

I am also on stock plugs, I have some 7's that I tried but they are definitely too cold.

Higgs without a doubt you can run more on the e85 blend. My best mph on 93 octane was with 25 degrees of timing. My timing is only lowered on 93 due to the compression jump. This engine loves e85 with mid 20s timing. I have not confirmed on the dyno, but plan to track it again soon

I haven't had much time to test since I have a crank seal leak and the car has been parked..... no time to take it in, lol.

1750 miles in my first year.

Its all good, when you get a chance bump that timing and let me know what you think.

Here is a pic of my setup. Tried to make the entire setup look OEM as possibleName: IMG_07541_zps1phcozpz.jpg

Thanks Higgs

Sean, I have not taken it back to the track since it was Bone stock. I made several runs at different ECT/IAT levels and the car performed the best with the timing I mentioned earlier (I have an HPT Log if anyone wants to see it)

Not a far comparison with just an E85 change, but put it this way. I would run my Bolt-on, heads, E85 car against ANY C7 Heads/Cam 93 octane car I have seen post lately
