oh please let us know how you like the hotchkis bars.. what is your setup now?
Im a MRC/Z51 and feel this car rolls much more than my c6 did.
I sure will! I'll post an unboxing thread tomorrow with pictures and initial impressions, and will definitely update it once I get them installed! I have a Z51 w/MRC.
I have no real info on them and have not seem them available for purchase separately yet. The price-point of the Hotchkis definitely didn't hurt either. If you have the info please feel free to share it and I'll get it added to my data post.
The best info I can find is that it costs about $3k, increases roll stiffness by 40% front & 20% rear, and also includes control arms and shocks. Pretty much all the threads and articles I found so far state the same info contained in the link below. Does anyone happen to know the bar diameters and possibly even weights?
The kit is p/n 23336064. It comes with both bars, bushings, 4 shocks and 4 lower control arms and misc mounting hardware. The bars have these stickers on them and are probably available seperately p/n 22936510 and 20959434.

The price difference between the two bars is very odd. So, you're looking at almost $600 for the bars, plus bushings for at least the front (according to pictures).
If you go back and read the 1st( op) of this thread you will see some of us waited 2 years and counting for the t1 package for c7. Sence GM played tickle tickle to long aftermarket bars showed up! I'm a GM man - but when in Rome!! Anyway, I am happy so many guys are trying everything out there, aftermarket and now GM T1's. Truth be told- the best c6's out there running National scca events are running aftermarket bars. There are still many questions about c7 t1 that are not answered. Where are the spring packages? Can/ will they retune mag- ride shocks? I seen the t1 has there own shocks for now, that setup looks great for base and z51 non mag cars but I'm counting on more soon!! I know retuning the mag-ride shocks is coming for all mag cars. It's a secret, lol
That's what it looks like. According to other posts the front bars on the Z06, Z07, Z51 magride and non-magride are the same. It could be that this front bar is totally different. I am also interested in what the part # is on the shocks. Bilstein makes two 46mm shocks for the Z51 the B8 ST and the B6 HD. I am wondering which one is on the Z51 stock and if one of the is in the T1 package.

I called bilstein a few times asking just that! All they would say is GM tells them what tune/ valves to use and there b6 and b8 shocks are not the same as GM tune.

You wouldn't have the GM p/n for the shocks would you?

Well yes....yes they do!
The T1 stuff is going to be ok...but nothing like what you are going to find on the aftermarket front. As a big company like GM they still have rules and guidelines to stay within which is why even their "race" T1 package has rubber bushings in it. I do not recall the last time I had ever seen a race car with rubber bushings in the control arms that wasn't in a showroom stock class that just didn't allow anything other than that.
So why would it be any surprise that their sway bars are any different?

I have been trying to find out the part numbers on the LCA's....I am guessing they are z06-07 lca....wondering why there is no springs with the T1 kit.
My 2014 Z51 had MRC, my 2015 Z51 does not, I truly do not notice much difference, but now it's in my head that my rear sway bar is smaller than I had before........
would I notice a difference switching to the FE4 rear bar???? any help/advice would be great. I also hear so many guys saying "if you don't have the mag ride", the car does not perform well" etc..........

I just installed them on my 14 C7 Z51 Callaway SC 627. Used my Quickjack 5000. Finishing touch on a fabulous package. No sway. Immediate razor sharp lateral response to match the instant accelerative and decelerative capability of this car. Highly recommend !!!
2016 Z51 MRC, Stock rear would step out without much effort. Added LG bars with himes and the car is flat and precise no matter how much throttle I give! Great upgrade. Only issue so far is chasing and correcting the "popping" noise I get occasionally from the end links!
