headers
cai installed and tune

We have a C7 coming in for a stg 6+ next week we will be posting up it soon.

pistons
rods
blower
heads
cam
all kinds of goodies and he spent under 15K.

if you dont want to make a drive out of town to another shop, you cant go wrong with 21st. They are a good group of guys.

Great pricing!! That's basically buying the kit and parts and installing for free (or maybe just a couple hundred bucks)!!!

This is the package I am looking at for $5495:

2014 Corvette Stingray Performance Package
550 BHP / 530 lbs-ft of torque

Package includes:
• 21CMC Custom VVT Camshaft
• Dual valve springs w. retainers
• Phaser limiting kit
• Gaskets, bolts, seals, fluids....
• T-304 Stainless steel 1 7/8" long tube headers
• 3" collector & x-pipe
• Hi flow catalytic converters
• Lingenfelter 160 thermostat
• AFE Cold Air Intake
• Professional installation
• 21st Century Muscle Cars custom dyno & street tune
• Chassis dyno report w. wide band reports

Shop is 21st Century Muscle Cars in DFW link: http://21stcenturymusclecars.com/200...1-1-1-1-2.aspx

Do you think a package like this is worth the cost?
Would something like this significantly impact engine life/reliability (assuming quality work and installation)?

Suggestion: find out in advance what is/are the items that will need either more maintenance or more frequent replacement, and at what cost estimated now, of course. Always good to know. Depending on how long you intend to keep the car, it's not a bad thing to have the shop that built it in your town, not that anyone can't work on it.

Could go with a Stage 1 cam, mildly ported heads, stock exhaust, and stock air intake with a drop-in filter.

Would look stock under hood, if a visual is done on the emissions check.

For headers, CAM, CAI, dyno tune, and full installation, that is not a bad price. What brand of headers? I would opt for Vararam CAI over the AFE.. Not going to make much difference unless you are actually pulling cold air into the engine. The headers (unless they are ceramic coated) are going to be heating up the engine bay quite a bit.

See what brand of headers, if they are CCed and if you can swap for Vararam. If it comes in around this price, it is a good deal and on par with what other quality shops charge.

Vararam does not currently offer a fitment for the C7, the C7 pulls cold air on from the passenger side fender, actually pretty effective
