Default Track wheel set up

I've just traded my 14 Z51 for a 17 Grand Sport 3LZ. Since I track about 8-10 days a year wanted to know best wheel and tire set up. Been tracking for 2 years and will try my first set of scrubbed slicks this summer. Presently run NITTO. NT01s 18 square
so I can rotate tires. Are 19 scrubs readily available? What is widest I can go without disrupting suspension or availability of scrubs.
Also, what kind of tune can I get to increase HP without voiding warranty?

What kind of tire do you want to use? If you are looking at slicks...Pirelli has a 19" slick that is out there so you can go that route.

Hoosier of course has 18 and 19 DOT slicks and R compounds

There is always the Cup 2 tires from the Z07 packages in the 19/20 but tires are going to be pricey.

Did you want to run something like the Nitto tire?

I don't know if you would want to do a square setup on this car. The biggest I have seen personally is a 18x10 with a 315 front tire and a 18x13 with a 345 at the back.

The sensors themselves are quite different, so you'll need to buy 4 new sensors. Besides that, wheels should work.

The guys at GT Track Tires get a lot of scrubs, they have the 19" Pirelli's from the Ferrari Challenge cars, There are good tires if you have a trailer and can change tires at the track. I run R888's and they have worn really well.

They increase in lap speeds from an R888 to a Pirelli can be in the 1 to 3 second range per lap and they may last a weekend. I can get 4 or more track weekends out of the R888's to me not worth the pain of mounting and dismounting tires.

Anymore suggestions on what are good 19" track wheels to run for the 2017 GS? Or should we stick with 18"?

I think 18" front, 19" rear wheel sets are the sweet spot. LG has a set, so does Crays (which don't clear Z06 brakes). I went with custom forged wheels for proper clearance of any size brakes, as well as lighter weight and more width. TSW Nurburgring or Interlagos at 18x10.5 square setup is also worth mentioning.

I actually have set of Speedlines 10.5 x 18 that I have been running on present car. What would be largest rubber I could put on these wheels.
If I go 305 x 30 x 18 would that mess up setting? I run in Race 2 now
so most of Nannies are off.

What is race 2?

Is that a new PTM mode on newer C7's?

for PTM I only have wet -> dry -> sport 1 -> sport 2 -> race

or just "off"

I've been running 315/30/18 NT01 tires on my front 18"x10.5" wheels with good results. I do have 325/30/19 rears on 19"x11.5" wheels.
