Guys, one of the issues is that the air leaving the intercooler is at 220 degrees which raises your IAT. not only does it lose power but it triggers much more.
I'm telling that to the Brand Manager tomorrow. They need to tune it and cut me loose!! If not that will be the 3rd visit for same issue and a Lemon Law slam dunk. I don't want to give up but it is a very sad situation.

thanks. When mine triggered the CEL and reduced engine power the temps were only 216 water and 248 oil when car shut down at 167.1mph. then after the Supercharger was replaced the CEL popped up on LAP #1 at 141mph with all temps even lower. I have the ear of the right people at GM finally but I dont know what else to tell them. Is it possible the MAP tables are too tight?? Car running too lean??
UPDATE: GM installed recording device in my car and I tracked it at Pocono on Friday morning to test. Car hit 172.6mph on lap 1 but then CEL and Reduced Engine power came on on next straight in 5th gear at 148mph. They have the data and we should know exactly what is going on by Tuesday. Stay Tuned!

I'm curious too. I continue to have essentially the same issue, except it's not related to "speed" but rather to load (100%) and throttle position (wide open)... Dealer has had the car for 12 days now and been in constant contact with GM who "is working on the issue". GM has told the dealer that they are experiencing this "issue" with other car owners, so I'm not alone (no ****)... but in the meantime I don't have a car and my next track day is fast approaching.
Hope they figure out your issue because I have a feeling it's the same issue that I'm having.

Mark,
I fully expect GM to resolve this as I now have the ear of the top people in Corporate. As soon as they contact me I will post. Several of us are having the same issue and I am confident GM will find the source.
I wonder to what extent we'll actually find out what's going on? We'll certainly find out what the ultimate fix is, and that may make it obvious, but if it comes out as calibration update outside of the base tables (ie: a code bug, which is what I kind of expect) we may just never know!
I fixed one once in the old LT1 (1990s) code, and it wasn't in a "table", it was in some code that checked wheel speed sensor acceleration, and if it was more than some baked in "Can never happen" constant (my car was so fast it was impossible! :-) ), it'd stop shifting and go into limp mode. And that was in the microcontroller code, not a table, so wouldn't show up in a (modern) HPTuners delta, for example.

As long as they fix it i would be ok. I asked that question last week before they wired up the car with the recording device and i tested it at Pocono. They claim it is NOT in the tune tables. IDK but will know something very soon.
The thing that makes me think it's a programming issue is 2017's have installed a CAI and immediately trigger a p0106 code. Take the CAI off and the code goes away. Plus the map sensitivity table was changed in 2017. Obviously some 2017's are setting the code pure stock under load. Both facts points to a programming issue.

Tom,
Is your car stock?
Are you having any issues?
What speeds do you get on the track?
Standing by anxiously for the complete, entire, full, thorough, replete, lock stock and barrel, unabbreviated, unabridged, uncondensed, uncut, whole enchilada, whole-hog explanation from GM.
But, I'm not very confident we're gonna get it!!!
If they do come up with a problem that may be across the whole model year, I hope they'll be offering a solution to every owner of the affected cars!!
