The OP!! He's doing a significant build and would like to see the results.

However, if you have results on your setup I'd be interested in knowing since OP has not updated yet.

Hi , sure no problem , however , my build was not as significant . I had the pro charger F1A 94 , BTR cam ( lifters and push rods and other bits ) , Low side fuel, upgraded Meth from double to triple nozzle ,15% crank pulley to up the boost . Total boost is now just over 16 psi . However , we are maxed out on fuel again . The tuner informed me if i wanted to get the car to higher levels i would need to go Port injection . Just look at the torque , pretty high for a Centri type blower . Car drives / behaves OK , has a little bit of surge ( i think due to the cam install ) until you get up to cruising speed , however , if you want to race , you don't feel the surge .

That's a pretty nice setup, I bet the port injection isn't cheap. You're A8 I'm guessing. Maybe the surging is in the tune possibly?

Nope . M7 , the surge is nothing major its just there , once you know how it reacts you can drive around it so to speak .

Even better!! Stock clutch or upgraded? Quarter mile?
I heard that a ported stock Throttle body can help with all the surge, but not sure. Maybe others can chime in.

I think this is what people mean when say when they want a "streetable" cam .
The installer / tuner told me this before it was done .
He said to go for something "streetable" which is what we ended up doing .
Its like the car wants to go get up go at low speeds hence the little surge

Still using the stock clutch . I had bad luck with an aftermarket clutch on an earlier car so stock until it dies . As for the power , owing to the car now having a pro charger , I feel that the power comes on more "progressive" than say the punch in the back from a PD type blower . In my opinion , you don't shock the clutch or drivetrain as hard with this set up . Time may prove me wrong but ,we'll see .

It's been awhile since you started the thread, was wondering how it turned out. Can you share details on build? i.e. rods/pistons, the shop that did build/tune? Also what were your results? Why did you decide to rebuild or upgrade the motor? thanks.
