You got it! You improvised well on the steering wheel tie down. Now just reverse everything going back to street. Each time it will go faster and you will gain shortcuts you find out on your own.
One thing you can do to speed things up is just sight down the wheel looking at the side walls, line them up with the front (or rear as the case may be), you will get within 1/8 inch toe just sighting in. Also you can adjust at the same time you are sighting for the rear. Harder for the front, so an assistant will be helpful.
