Dropped the new cam in after removal of that lil bish oil pan. GM engineers you hate us right?

Does my cam sprocket look worn and should I change it? It looks like a circular sawblade to me

No way to tell from those pictures. General practice is to replace them but plenty reuse them.

Ok Jim, I decided to keep it as waiting for the part would delay the rebuild by one more week (no suppliers in Europe)

Today I installed the 4° limiter in the phaser.

I see that some people degree their Gen V LT1 cam. How is that physically possible as I have a retaining key in the crankshaft and a pin in the camshaft that protrudes into a hole in the phaser? Do they use an adjustable phaser and thus I should not worry about degreeing my cam as I use the stock phaser?

Don't know. On any Gen V engine I've messed with, VVT was removed. Probably worth an email or call to BTR
