It's very difficult to take statements like that at face value when you read the individual's previous posts that keep telling others to cancel their orders, return for a refund, etc.
In fact he is one of the offending posters with the endless crusade to convince people that they don't want this car. If you don't want it, fine. Why do you need to tell us all so many times exactly?

Maybe I missed a few.
In the end, indeed, it is a personal choice and for me... if I didn't want a car, I would not be out telling perfect strangers how bad it was or dissing it. I'd just make my own decision and move on.

You're obviously a lot more classy and mature than many of the idiots around here. Obviously your Photobucket account isn't loaded with pictures of "spats", orange peel and pre-production misaligned body panels on C7 Z06's.

Look forward to reading your reviews of your A8 when you get it, Snorman! Once you beat on it around the track, and tell us how it meets your expectations completely, it may convince me to get an auto in this car.
It is because of this forum that today I cancelled my months old order for a full up C7 Z06 Z07 that is now sitting at 3400. I did it after several sleepless nights and with great disappointment. I spent a lot of time studying the car before ordering it, looking forward to how I would love it, setting up a great financing deal, and getting my C6 ready to sell or trade. It is because of this forum that I learned more about the issues although several of my Vette buddies had been quietly discussing them. And I will be following this forum to see if it is wise to try for a Z06 again in a year or two.
This is a wise, prudent and financially smart decision. Basically I'm in the exact same position that you are. Its just amazing to me that people don't understand, that not everybody has a z06 yet. Why would I want to be a guinea pig when I can let everybody else do that?
Besides, who has the time to deal with the multiple trips to the stealership to get this fixed?

You guys should've known this from day one.
I'm grossly disappointed in the amount of people who've just jumped on the anti 2015 Z06 since that youtube video came out. You guys trust Chevy to make you a $100,000 car, yet you don't trust them to fix it. This just doesn't make any sense at all. I can't help but wonder how many were looking for an excuse to back out of their Z06 purchase, and used the results of a youtube video go ahead and back out.
I tell you guys who I trust, I trust the current owners of a 2015 Z06, as the others here are just speculating. Yes, that includes nineball as one who's opinion I trust.

Great....Maybe he can sell you a tune, or some rims,,,,
At least he is straight forward about his profit motive and completely playin "YA-ALL" like a fiddle.....Yee haw...
P.S--- I'd trust chevy exponentially more had they released a car that does not have these rookie problems...

Let it go. I don't work on customer cars or do tuning. Just wheels. I don't even like dealing with tires. The only cars I build, belong to me. I've been very transparent here, sorry if you did not like the outcome of those races. I suggest others go line them up and let us know what they find.
I think you guys, that are tired of listening to certain j---offs on here, are going about it the wrong way. Just put them on the ignore list ( and don't read anything another member highlights with their nonsense) and you'll be good to go. For you, these clowns will cease to exist. Right now they are getting what they want. To rattle your cage. Don't let them get away with that. Using the ignore list is a very effective way to privately tell them to F--- off in your mind. Try it, and your corvette forum experience will once again be a pleasant one.
5 or 6 particular posters (none of which even own the car as far as I can tell) are managing to ruin this particular subforum. The mods should step in probably and "suggest" they stop with the stupidity.
Yes and we all KNOW who they are...Trolls who like to stir the pot. All I know is I cant wait to take delivery of mine.

Since we are all so sensitive and worried about semantics, let me rephrase as the last comment was made for general consumption.
RE:please interchange the words rims VS wheels above.
I agree that some of the information on things that could be improved is good to know. I even agree that some may not have the desire to be the "early adopter" and work their way through these issues.
I for one would have loved to have been one of the first ones in-but it looks like sometime in 2015 for me.
But the hysteria and destruction that a few try to cause is just nothing but laughable. It's entertainment. I don't like it as it's destructive to the hobby but mentally when I read it I blow through it and laugh it off.
In the grand scheme of how I would use this car-rolling starts on public roads going over 100 mph is not in the plans-so I don't care how it does in that kind of stupid game. I will admit I might press on it from a red light to 0-60 lined up-but even then at my level of ability and prudence for others. What I'm trying to say is that if 95% of the folks that own or will own a Z06 look at the entire envelope of how they want to use this car a roll on from 40-120 is probably of minute importance. If there is a programming issue that pulls timing due to conservative settings that is effecting the car's capability then I have faith GM will address it. It's just s/w. They may not have to do anything other then a new program-we don't yet know, and I bet they have a lot of data and will have a lot more data, and a solution sometime soon. When I get mine-if this becomes an issue for me at the track-I will talk to a tuner and evaluate the pro's con's of engine risk/warranty versus my enjoyment. I ain't no Andy Pilgrim and probably won't need for anything to be done-but I will enjoy this car! for those that are in a hysterical state over a you tube video on a roll on test. Please go start your own "Roll on test drivers forum" and go away. You can leave behind the Hitler video's though-they are valid entertainment and funny!

I'd trust Chevy more if they hadn't grubered us. The nonsense coming out of The Boys From Marketing versus what appears to be real world results is cause for nothing but skepticism. I believe good management training suggests, Be Early, Be Upfront, Be Honest. It seems that practice wasn't on anyone's mind here. If they had said the car is ready but we have some kinks to work out, I'd be OK with that. Trying to avoid the issue with marketing strategy is an insult.
