It is what it is. I take info in a positive way and use it to improve/build upon. After weighing all the pros and cons I buy or I don't, just that simple.

The stock times "hopefully" will improve if I have anything to do with it. Oh, I will be looking for Vipers down the track.

Forums always seem to bring out the worse in people. I say that because I haven't yet met real life individuals as ignorant or stupid as some of the regulars here, so I have to assume they are playing it up to troll others into responding. That's why I don't post much any more. But every once in a while there's a good thread; you just have to learn to ignore the people who don't matter and benefit from the good information when that shows up.

Merry Christmas.
I saw the word sesspool and wondered what this thread was about.

I am happy to buy drinks!! My guess is you will be too if it doesn't go quite the way you expect!! You might not be quite as happy about buying them for my Wife if she get's past in her wreck. It's all about fun!!

I envy blkbrd69 in that warm weather he gets to run all year round. I would take his car too!!

Enjoy the car and have fun! Hope to see these C7's out with us next season.
I would love to hook up with you guys.. problem is finding the time. Between my FT job and business that i am trying to build free time is at a minimum these days. Im in SW Ohio, not sure where Beaver Run is but if it is in W Pa then i could give it a go.

I absolutely would not mind buying drinks and would enjoy the fun/challenge of running with a good group of guys. If you think about it once you have a schedule for 2015 shoot me a PM

I love the Gen V by the way... I almost bought a Black/Header Red this past summer. It is still at Yark Dodge in Toledo. I had a deal at 95K back then.... bet it could be had for 90 now.. smokin car at that price.

WELCOME! YES, C7 is a GREAT CAR. Good Choice....

As for the Forum. Lots of good info and plenty of bad.

Met some of my best friends here...GOOD PEOPLE, and lots of dicks too.

Like anything else...Balance.

Don't let it discourage you...It's still a good place to be.

Those are nice cars. We drive old junk though. Lol! 2008 ACR, Wife's prepared 2010 C6Z at Phoenix Performance now getting the Delrin bushings and my friend out of his Phoenix prepared 509 rwhp C6Z and into the 2010 #27 Viper ACR-X. He has asked me to help him as best I can. They are actually much easier to drive than the C6Z and he won't have any issues. Aero is like magic at higher speeds.

Anyway Lots of Vettes run with us. We are safe and we are fast. The most fun is talking about how awesome it was at the end of each day..

The place is Pittsburgh Motorsports Park apparently right off the turnpike. It looks decent with lots of runoff and not much to hit!!! If it's going to happen I will let you know.

Enjoy your car! Amazing piece of machinery! Good luck in business and as I said if we are coming out your way I will let you know.

Isn't the c6 GS the poser version of the C6, it's like I can't afford the Z06but I want the look of the faster car, so give me the GS with the body but the smaller motor ?

Dumb comments like the above. And, the on going, never ending "war" between the Trolls v Fanboys make the C7 Zo6 Forum the most entertaining Forum.

It's just human nature. There is a propensity on an anonymous internet forum to say things that would never be said face to face. Without any serious moderation (not the mods fault, with this many members it's a tough job) threads tend to devolve into Junior High pissing matches.

A forum this size probably needs a serious, full time moderator. When threads are high jacked, or turned into a sort of electronic street fight, the instigator should be removed with a warning to all involved in the inevitable retaliation posts. If that doesn't get the thread back on track, it should be immediately locked or removed. That way, you can have both positive and negative threads created with mature, and even spirited, discussions.

You mean the WORST in people?

I find it ironic that you corrected his spelling mistake and then preceded to make your own grammatical mistake in the very next sentence. Perhaps you should sit the next round out

I think you meant proceeded not preceded?...

I find it ironic that you corrected a correction with a grammatical mistake of your own.

Kind of embarrassing huh?...

Tell the truth - how many times did you re-read your post before submitting, to make sure you didn't fall into the same embarrassing trap?

I am kidding of course....

I'm famous for those kinds of oversights - you'll never see me correct a grammatical error for that very reason and I know better.

Right before I posted this I found one... happens to the best of us.

I didn't want to write a paragraph long post just in case.

If you're going to play the "correction" game, you better do just that!

And then of course if you do find an error you made, hit the "edit" real fast so it won't be time stamped...
