I posted that mine started bucking as soon as foot off brake similar to yours but never stalls Or throws a code remember that this started at just over 200 miles , I even drove the mechanic around and we both agreed needs to break in more now I’m at 700 miles and still does it. I don’t know what to do your car even though a 23 mine came out right before yours

Riverside Chevrolet

10AM:
Took delivery of my 2023 Corvette 3LT with Z51, front end lift with 4 miles.
Traded in my 2016 C7 1LT with 54K miles.

5PM:
Drove up to Buellton Chevron 209 miles (stops in between with no issues at Malibu Beach, Oxnard).
As I pulled up to gas pumps, the car stalled. I restarted, pulled up to pump and filled up.

When I restarted the car, it started in D2. I tried to shift D1 and it fell like the clutch was
slipping. I tried to enter M1 but got M2 instead. Back to Drive and I got D2, not D1.
The display said 'Idle creep temporarily disabled'.

Meanwhile the car was lurching everywhere, I was afraid I was going to get a runaway
situation so I turned off car and called GM Roadside Assistance.

At this point, I have been the proud owner of my car for a whopping 6 hours from new.
Not expected to have a disabled car so soon.

Car was disabled at Chevron in Buellton only 1 mile away from Rio Vista Chevrolet.
But the lurching was so bad, I didn't want to risk driving the short distance on HWY 246 with
traffic going 45 MPH.

7:30PM
Tow truck towed my car there - they close at 5PM so off to hotel for the night.

Next morning I walk to dealership (Lyft and Uber - so few drivers, quicker to walk
2 miles from hotel than wait for a ride that may never show up).

8:30AM 6/23/22:

209 miles in
214 miles out
(service record has typo of 309 and 314 miles)

Rio Vista Chevrolet

They are a very small dealership and were completely swamped with cars.
They were initially unable to accomodate my car.

However, I contacted Riverside Chevrolet and their Service Advisor convinced the
Rio Vista Chevrolet Service advisor that this problem may quick fix - just either bad
firmware update or other programmatic issue.

Rio Vista Chevrolet agreed to check and found the issue (details from report below).

Concern: c/s vehicle lurches in 1st and 2nd gear
Correction scanned for codes and found P0700, P2853, P2855, searched for bulletins and
found #21-NA-033: Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Illuminated - Multiple Transmission
DTCs set - (Dec 15, 2021).

Performed Transmission Service Cleaning Procedures, Hydraulic System Flush Procedure,
and Transmission Service Fast learn with gds 2, cleared codes and test drove, vehicle
shifted normal at this time, scanned for codes and codes did not come back at this time.


1PM 6/23/22: I got the car back, started on my ~270 mile journey from Buellton, CA to
San Jose. About 2 miles from the dealer, the shifting got rough in 1 and 2 again, but no
Check Engine light. Sometime during the journey, the Check Engine light came
back on - car was still running OK and I made it home around 6PM.

6:30PM 6/23/22:
Mychevrolet app alerted me to error and recommended I take the car 'within 1 day'
for servicing.

I noticed that in Auto mode, the car was again shifting rough in 1 and 2.
Out of frustration, I used 'manual' mode and it seemed to be fine and I used that to get to
the local dealer from my home. Check Engine light was on, but no 'Idle creep temporarily
disabled' like yesterday.

11:00AM 6/24/22

Fremont Chevrolet

I gave them same data above from Rio Vista Chevrolet.
Here's their report
478 miles in
483 miles out

" Customer states Check Engine light is on.
Customer purchases vehicle in Southern Califorina.
Light came on for P0700, P2853, P2855 on the way up here and took to
a GM dealer. They performed transmission fluid flush procedure per
bulletin 21-NA-033. Transmission when in automatic has harsh shifts seems to be
OK in manual. Please check and advise"

"1. Verified customer's concern. found check engine light on.
Inspected and found current engine control module diagnostic trouble code set
P0700: Transmission control module requested Malfunction Indicator Lamp Illumination
and current transmission control module diagnostic trouble codes set
P0841: transmission fluid pressure sensor performance and
P2855: clutch 1 pressure charge performance.

Performed diagnostic as per service information document #5501043 and
Technical Service Bulletin # 21-NA-033: Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illuminated
- Multiple Transmission DTCs set - (Dec 15, 2021).

Performed transmission fluid level check procedure, fluid level OK and at
specification for non-track fill.

Checked and recorded transmission diagnostic trouble code freeze frame failure records .
As per diagnostics for transmission diagnostic trouble codes set, performed transmission
odd gear clutch hydraulic system cleaning procedure.

Procedure requires it to be performed 3 times. Performed procedure 6 times to
help flush out any possible debris. Performed line pressure hydraulic system cleaning
procedure 3 times. Performed complete hydraulic system cleaning procedure then
performed transmission fast learn procedure.

Procedure was successful. Cleared all diagnostic trouble codes, road-tested vehicle
mileage 478 to 483 miles and rechecked transmission shifting OK.

Transmission operating as designed at this time.

Customer previously had vehicle at another dealership for current diagnostic trouble codes
P0700, P2853, and P2855.

Opening GM Technical Assistance case to see what they want to be done.

Since receiving car back from Fremont Chevrolet, it seems to be fine as of 6/26/2022

Did the last dealer suggest a DCT filter change? On the assumption that the issues are due to debris at the solenoids, and the fact that you have had the problem twice, it would seem prudent to have the DCT filter changed out. That way you can cut the old DCT filter apart and see if there is much in the way of debris being trapped in the filter itself. If there is a lot of debris then you have done yourself a favor by avoiding the filter going into any kind of by-pass mode and plus you have a data-point for any future issues. If you remove the filter and have minimal debris then at least you have a level of confidence that there should be no issues of this nature going forward.

Since receiving car back from Fremont Chevrolet, it seems to be fine as of 6/26/2022
Two years ago I bought a new C8 from Rio Vista. Paid MSRP sales process was simple and honest. One of the reasons I sold the car after two months. Was lack of confidence in their ability to service it. The service department is filled with trucks. Had a couple conversations with their techs and I was generally underwhelmed most topics I knew more about than they did. I just didn’t wanna deal with the pain in the *** every time I needed something done. Carl

Default Squeaky sound like old bed springs?

So...my check engine light has come on with a Diagnostic warning to get my engine/transmission serviced within the next 24 hours. I immediately started notice a squeaking bed spring sort of sound coming from the engine right before the car comes to a stop. It's a 22 Z51 with 1200 miles on it. Any idea? It's frustrating because in addition to thus issue I've been without audio/phone/turn signal sound because my Amp went bad and the dealership has no idea when a new Amp will be in stock. I miss my C7 manual transmission no issues in 3 years of ownership.

woke up today to my carpet soaked behind the driver seat of my 2022 C8 - going tomorrow to hopefully drop it.. had a warranty appt alrdy set for two months from now for a headlight with moisture issues, and the headlights rubbing on the paint... now its leaking behind my driver seat (not from above either, everything dry but the floor) so hopefully they get me in NOW or its going to happen a ton before they fix it or figure out what the issue is

Has anyone had an issue with the rear view mirror camera blacking out then coming back on? Mine has been doing it but until it breaks it will be useless to take it to the dealer. I know electrical gremlins are in every car built the last few years so this isn't a surprise.

Have the dealer replace the camera, takes !0 minutes or less to install. Its only goingto get worst

I'll be due for my first oil change in September. I can use the regular mirror if the camera goes out. I'll just have to remember to tell them I need it when I make my appointment so they have one in stock. Thanks!

Search back a few weeks on the post...I had the bose amp replaced about a month ago...it controls all audio in the car including the turning directional sound...the back log on new bose amps is about 6 weeks...I also posted the service bulletin about the condensate line leaking under the passenger mat as well

Got the P0700 code over the weekend - 3200 miles on a '22 I received last Nov. My old code reader wouldn't show any of the sub-codes, but indicated there were some. Brought it in to the dealer yesterday and they said they'd "get to it in a couple of days". Reading 21-NA-33 is very instructive. I specifically asked last time it was in (out of alignment at 1900 miles) if there were any service advisories or bulletins.

When you send them the email requested, you get another canned answer. No assistance. Distract and delay. No power to do anything for customers and no motivation after they have made the sale.

You are not going to believe this but after 18 months of ownership, I have a working glove box!

It arrived originally with a button that was intermittent. I wasn't going to bring it in just for that. So I waited for something to go wrong that needed to go to dealer near my home in LA, I show them the button often doesn't work. They do nothing about it and give me the car back.

A couple of months later it stopped working altogether. Again, I waited for another reason to go to the dealer. Now its obviously a problem. They say they need to order a part. 7 months go by --- nothing from the dealer. I give up on them.

So I bring it to a dealer in Vegas when I had another problem they needed to fix. 6 weeks later --- TA DA! The "part" shows up. But it took 2 entire days to repair it so my feeling is -- it was something else than the part they ordered.

Anyway, for the first time I have a working glove box and a place to put my baseball cap!

Oh boy. Have had mine about 10 days, at 270 miles, got this today: (I hope it is a software issue or something simple. Really don’t want my second weekend with the car to be with-out the car while is sits in a shop. Acted weird for a few moments when shifting into reverse to get out of garage. Went back to park, then back to reverse. Car kind of oddly rocked a few inches, then seemed to figure it out. I was able to drive around my neighborhood, and change gears, reverse, park. But we shall see.)

TCM - Transmission System

P073E

The Engine and Transmission System is not performing as expected. An issue has been detected in the Transmission System that transfers power from the engine to the drive wheels. You may experience reduced power or shifting issues. If the vehicle is continually driven with the check engine light on, the emission controls might not work as well, the vehicle fuel economy might not be as good, and the engine might not run as smoothly. This could lead to future repairs. Service within 1 day
