The more I visit this thread, the closer I come to placing an order, even though I'm about a year away from getting the car.

The Raptor and yes the barrels are polished also, no paint, just natural polished aluminum.

With the way prices are going, I'd say the sooner the better. With shipping, these wheels are already a couple hundred $ more than when I bought them. And I have to think as popularity rises, they might start to creep up in price.

Since you have got Aerolarri wheels installed:
1. Did the offsets bring out the wheel flush with the body?
2. Assuming the above is true, did you need to add larger mud flaps to protect the body?
3. Where did you get the wheels installed? Cost ?
4. Did you get spin or force balance?

Default Questions

They are aligned perfectly with fender but splash guards work good also even on oems. I would only go with the oem splash guars painted though. I got some from rpi designs but not even installed yet as after a few hundred miles does not seem to matter much for my arizona driving. Will probably install if I am doing road trip and unknown areas of road. Had the 21 20s installed at discount tire 140 follars and they said it was amazing as they needed nothing to balance. So far amazing as I have had much more expensive wheels which I had to rebalance a few times to get them right.my first set of forge wheels and I will never go back to cast again.

You trusted discount tire to mount the wheels to the tires? I have not had wonderful luck with them on two separate occasions.

Have you seen the brilliant gold produced yet on another wheel and when did you order them?

Around here, discount tire is one of the few highly recommended shops for working on low profile tires. I've never had an issue with them. Might be a location based issue.

f I was a betting man I would have lost some bucks, because I would have bet that I was going to go with the Thresher wheels.
I was basing a lot of that on seeing pictures of the Threshers posted on this and other forums, and they look great.
They look so good, that I was almost set on going with the Thresher wheels in UFO Glazed Brush- then I spent some extra time on the Aerolarri website and saw the Hurricane wheels.
What I like about the Hurricanes is that the staggered look looks staggered however you view the wheels.
What I mean is that the staggered look of the Threshers do look staggered but it depends on how your eye first "sees" the wheel.
I'm probably not making any sense here, but I'm getting closer to placing my order this week for the Hurricanes even though the car is a long way off.
I attached a pic of the Threshers and the Hurricanes side by side- let me know if my comments make sense.

I greatly appreciated if anyone can post pictures of the Hurricane wheels on their C8.
Thank you

One of the things I like about the threshers is the look of concavity, which I don't see as much in some of their other wheels including the Hurricane's. To me, concavity is a big deal and makes a huge difference in appearance of your car, particularly 3/4 angle.

sorry but that makes no sense to me. I really like both of them. I saw Jeremy’s set of hurricanes at a car show, and I just received my Threshers. They both look awesome to me. I do think that the Threshers show the concave face of the wheel more, which is what I personally prefer.

@kbreese I hear ya.

Seeing the Hurricanes on a car will be helpful.

As an aside - where on LI? - I'm from Levittown.

I was pretty sure my comments wouldn't make sense, but thanks for mentioning Jeremy's choice of the Hurricane.
