I have only seen my set of Aerolarri wheels in person. I ordered them back in late April early May of 2021

Body color everything, bright polished wheels and torch red, tough combo to beat.

Wheels look great. Love the Aerolarri style.

For a while, I've had my eye on the Hurricanes and the Threshers, in UFO Glazed Brush, then decided on the Hurricanes- like yours in 19x9 / 20x11.5- but in Black Ghost Polished.

Seeing the finish on forum member @jagamajajaran 's car and seeing how the color changes depending on different lighting, is what made me go with that finish.

I spent a good amount of time chatting with Chet over the weekend, and after asking about a thousand and some questions, I'll be placing my order with him tomorrow for the Hurricanes in Black Ghost Polished even though I won't be getting the car for about a year.

Maybe getting the wheels now will help me feel that the arrival of the car is eventual.

Welcome to the hurricane family

I'm on the same boat car won't come for a good while but getting the wheels will ease off the wait.

I've been going back and forth having a hard time deciding on a finish, and just when I thought I knew what I wanted, another last minute change.

I don't like black wheels, and no matter how stunning these wheels are, and no matter that they change colors depending on light conditions, the short story is that the Black Ghost Polished wheels are black wheels - at least that's what my eyes tell me.

With that said, I placed my order today, and went with the Hurricanes in UFO Glazed Polish. BRUSHED

Chet tells me this finish, like Black Ghost Polished, also changes color with different lighting.

That's my story - now the wait.

**EDIT** I should have written Brushed, not Polished, also when texting with Chet, he said the UFO Polished changes color like the Black Ghost Polished. Sorry about the confusion

Ordered mine a few weeks ago. I had more trouble picking wheel style and finish than I had configuring my C8! Ended up going with Raptors in Graphene Glaze Brushed, a shade between Black Ghost and UFO. First time buying wheels before taking delivery of a car!

Anyone have a pic of black ghost and graphing side by side? Hard to see the difference in all the pics with different lighting. I think I want graphine glazed…brushed or polished?

I agree, harder than optioning the car.

My understanding is that all 3 Glazes are "chameleon like" regardless of finish. UFO Glaze should change colors, whether you get brushed or polished.

Definitely tough to see the differences between Black Ghost and Graphene since they change color. After studying website and forum photos, I decided Black Ghost really looks like a black wheel in certain lighting, which I do not want. The website describes brushed as "basically the same as your stainless steel refrigerator" which sounds great to me. Decisions decisions.

I went with the Futurity, polished. They were shipped last week. Figured I am waiting on the car. I just as well wait on something else! Went with stock wheel sizes. Posted a video. It may or may not work. The video shows the finish better.

Damn, those look good! They didn’t put the numbers on the center caps?

No doubt you are correct.

My edited comment was meant to clarify that in my conversation with Chet, "chameleon-like" was used to describe the polished finish.

I'm glad it applies to the brushed finish, also.

Exactly my sentiments.

I don't like black or chrome wheels- Black Ghost = black, and Polished = chrome. Brushed finish suits me.

I requested that they not include the numbers.

I asked this in a separate thread which has no replies, so I'll try for a response here.

If you've changed out your factory wheels when the car was new, did you do it during PDI?

My car will be courtesy delivered, and I have a good Discount Tire near me, but I'm wondering if the dealer doing it during PDI would be a better choice, or better with DT?

Thanks for your input

For the people with darker finish wheels, what lug nuts are you using? I bought some black spline drive lugs. Wheels are going on the car in a couple days. I looked at the lugs on the wheels and can see some bright metal around the lugs in the bottom of the holes. I don’t think I’ll really notice it on the car but was just wondering if anyone else has run into this and what they did about it.

If your willing to send your wheels to the dealer and they promise to return the stock wheels back to you then go for that, but I highly doubt it so I recommend doing local where you can keep or sell your stock wheels

No car yet but I'll just buy regular black lug nuts since they're cheap
