It’s official. I took delivery today. Picked it up this afternoon. I added radiator grill screens, front splitter and strut covers. Oh and washed it of course. Thank you all for the input and support during this journey, and hang in there, I t’s worth every second of anticipation the minute you take delivery. The deja vu was crazy as I sat at the dealer going over all of the technology and functions. It was exactly like when my dad took delivery of his 1994 coupe. In 1994 I sat there as a kid thinking how the car was like a spaceship and I felt the same today.

It's finally here! It arrived this afternoon. I was driving home from Northern Virginia when the dealer called. I think I drove a wee bit faster after the call. The dealer sent me the Buyers Order via email and behold there is a Doc Fee ($600) and deliver and prep fee ($900). This prep fee seems like ADM to me. Have others seen something like this?

Beautiful Ride! Only Doc Fee at my dealer. No prep fee.

Maybe this info here will help and give hope to others who like me are waiting for the birth of their new 2022 C8.
I just found out that my TPW is 10/25/21.
I am hopeful to get delivery by at least mid November.
I feel your JOY. It's been fun watching you go through this. I'm about a month behind. :-) Like the white and black. Mine will be Torch Red and black, but black mirror covers.
Do you know how many allocations ciocca got this month?
No one knows. They are supposed to find out Saturday 10/9 from what I’ve read but that doesn’t mean they will share them. Best thing is to hear from members on here who are being contacted. Sounds like Ciocca are doing some preparing as they have been contacting people in the 2300’s the last few days. The highest number I saw contacted by them was 2380 something.
That's what I read on a previous post here. The dealer requests their allocation quantity on 10/7 (Thur.) and GM announces their allocations on Sat. 10/9. Dealer orders are due to GM by the following Sat. 10/16 and the last day to make any adjustments or corrections on orders is Tue. 10/19.
