You all may see this post on more than one thread. My nine month trek to own one of these amazing cars is finally over (January 18th 2021 to delivery a few hours ago). Here I am with my new mistress back at the ranch. I want to thank the amazing people at MacMulkin Chevrolet and all of you who shared our collective ups and downs. This need not be said as many of you have heard it more than once on this forum, but the wait was worth it! I will do a full review in a few weeks, once I have experienced more. Right now I am still in shock...
It's finally here! It arrived this afternoon. I was driving home from Northern Virginia when the dealer called. I think I drove a wee bit faster after the call. The dealer sent me the Buyers Order via email and behold there is a Doc Fee ($600) and deliver and prep fee ($900). This prep fee seems like ADM to me. Have others seen something like this?
Definitely an ADM FEE. That’s one reason I went with MacMulkin.
233 days since my deposit. TPW 10-18
‘Great looking ride, though. 🇺🇸😎
Enjoy !!
Do you know how many allocations ciocca got this month?
Might know tomorrow 2521 just reported The Call (email) today. If they are working on 25XX it must be big. Next time I stop by I'll see if Dave can explain how he goes from a Wait List, to the On Order list and getting the Call/Emails out.

I had a dealer pull that on my last March, I drove from Philly to Baltimore with an agreed to price and they added I call it a "Christmas Party Fee" I walked out. The salesmen ran out but I just FU and drove home. Not sure I'd do that with a C8, but I might. Actually I would and I'll bet they'd drop the fee.

Nice. I should be getting contacted soon I guess then at 2490.

I'm 100% sure you are in this round, I'm 2477 and 2521 we both are in. Tomorrow they get the allocations and have till CoB 10/16 to get them in. I've no idea of how the wait list is distributed over the salesmen.

Damnnn, I was 2676 and backed out as I received an allocation elsewhere. If I were in it to flip I would have kept that place in line. Probably should have.

If the original 27 were to be added to the 136 then a total of 163 would be for September. I can not believe it would be that small for the entire month of October at just 125. One person on the list #220 got a an e-mail to finalize his build, thus I think it is a lot more than 125 for October.
That's not really how it works, GM decides how many cars they can make in a month and then hands out allocations for that number. It may be more or less than previous months.
#108 right now.
Latest delivery change. Because of shortage of drivers/carriers delivery to NorCal is now projected to be 2 NOV.
OH WELL….t least it’s made and was not involved in the transport fire. 😊
