Tracking 2022 C8 Orders
1. Coupe versus convertible........ Certain convertible tasks take longer to complete than a coupe, so they will try to not build too many convertibles in a row, but to intermix them with coupes
2. Colors........ They don't like to paint the same color back to back as if there is a problem with the color, they want to be able to catch the problem and fix it without it affecting too many vehicles, so they like to intermix the colors coming down the line and not paint a batch of one color at a time.
3. Various options........ Certain options take longer to complete, like the front lift, so they will try to not build too many vehicles with these longer tasked options in a row, but to intermix them
4. Supplier capacity........ A lot of parts are not kept in stock by BGA, but are kept by the Supplier, like Seats for instance. So they are at the mercy of the supplier as to whether or not or when they will provide the seats they need for a build, so they have to sequence a car into the line based on when the seats or which ever part it is, will arrive or be available to install into the vehicle.
But yeah, definitely that video is AMAZING to watch.
