oh boy, if we can assume that this data is an accurate sample of the production run between 5685-7189, then at least 584 cars are yet to be released from quality hold, and probably more since there’s almost certainly some produced before and after our VIN window here. If we’re generous and say that BGA clears 20 cars out of QC hold per day, it still takes another 6 full five day work weeks to clear them out. Considering holiday breaks, that puts some of us well into January before our cars are even on a truck headed to the dealer.

I just called the concierge and they told me I am status 4000 and that there wasn’t anything specific to a constraint of any sort. Claimed it could sometimes take anywhere up to 3-4 weeks from production to get to 5000. 😵💫

Great news! Yes, I saw on the MM order tracking speadsheet that yours now says shipped. I, on the other hand, am still on QC hold. Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving I don't think my status will change until next week. And as of next week, it will be 4 weeks and counting on QC hold. I can't take this anymore!!! It's like Groundhog Day each and every day for me.
