It'll come with a 12 month warranty. I recommend having an auto upholstery shop fixing it if you don't want to do it yourself.
If the dealer/GM gives me the part for free ill do it lol. Trim panel is around $450 and for some reason the procedure says to replace the airbag as well which is $540. Given that I only got the issue after 3 years, the replacement wouldn't raise my confidence level. Ill try the needle syringe method first.
I am on a waiting list for a '24 and I have been debating whether to order a 2LT or 3LT. This topic might help me make a decision.
It is my understanding the difference between the two trim styles is the 3LT has the GT2 seats and additional leather on the dash, door panels, and console. Is that correct or is there other differences? Thanks guys.
I knew about the 3LT dash delaminating issue prior to ordering and hoped I would be one of the lucky ones not to have the issue. I had the same hope for the transmission and managed to get unlucky on both counts. At least the dash problem is a minor issue. I would still like to hear form others if the dash over the instrument cluster gets much warmer than the rest of the dash. Just touch it and then touch the glove box area and let me know if you feel a very significant temperature difference. Thanks in advance!
Jesus. Trans issues AND dash delam on a 2023? SELL that car, its cursed!!! *makes sign of crucifix*

The 3LT airbag cover on the steering wheel is also "leather" with stitching but that can be replaced after purchase if desired. The fabric on the pillars, visors, headliner, etc. is replaced with sueded microfiber on the 3LT. Personally, that is one of the main reasons I went 3LT but it isn't a big deal to some people. If you have decided to go with GT2 seats you are nearly half way in cost to a 3LT.
I wouldn't let the 3LT dash problems dissuade you from a 3LT if you really want one. Most people will not have problems and the problems can be fixed relatively inexpensively compared to previous generations.

Yes that is largest difference. GT2 seats are available with 2LT. The difference between a 2LT and a 3LT, both with GT2- 2 tone seats in Napa perforated leather is $2955 and no "custom leather wrapped package" or "Sueded Microfiber-Wrapped Upper Interior Trim Package" in the 2LT. Some people say they can tell the difference with the leather wrap, maybe so but 2 out of 100 might notice it. Sueded microfiber seat inserts are available in a 2LT but not the Micro fiber upper Trim package. There may be other small differences, not sure. The 3LT is nice if a person wants it.
Thank you guys for taking the time to give detailed replies.
The reason for considering the 3LT is I like the natural/black two-tone seats and the only way to get that combination is with the GT2 seats at an additional $5K+ which is substantial but not a deal breaker and even though the dash bubbling might be an easy fix, the thought of a possible recurrence is not pleasant, I don't want to wait a year for the Vette, spend $80K+, wind up losing interest due to issues, and knowing myself that is exactly what would happen. When in doubt there in no doubt, this is why I am grateful to be able to rely on your sound opinions.
My 2016 Z51 was a 1LT and I liked the seats, I also sat on a 2023 2LT with GT1 seats which I find its design to be appealing and very comfortable.

If this is the only component of the 3LT pkg you want, you can save yourself a substantial amount of money and just purchase the seat skins from a gm parts dealer. Without knowing the part #s (which should be easy to get) it looks like it'll be around $600 per seat from an online parts dealer.
The two-tone seats are not offered with the GT1 seats, it has to be with GT2 seats.
In addition, if one orders the GT2 seats on a 2LT Trim the only color combination that is offered is the Sky Cool Gray/Black, total additional cost is about $2,290.
For the Natural/Black color combination it has to be the 3LT Trim, totat additional cost is about $5,250.
The real question is why even have a leather dash? Seems just about as dopey as gluing on carbon fiber for decoration throughout the cabin?
Leather has nice tactile feel, but who gets in a car and rubs their dashboard?
The 3LT "leather" interior gives an overall nicer impression. But I agree, it doesn't need to be leather. There are very good synthetic leathers available that rival the look and feel of real leather without the downsides of real leather but they aren't cheap. My opinion is it comes down to marketing. If a "leather" interior and a synthetic leather interior were available at the same price I think most most of the public would choose the "leather" interior because ow the word "leather". I use "leather" in quotes because most people wouldn't consider bonded leather real leather.

Just a little piece of advice...
This forum, while a great resource with a lot of great people willing to help other members out, many IRL if necessary (ask me how I know), is like any other automotive forum where the problems with these cars are highlighted to the point where they appear to be more widespread, prevalent, or inevitable than they actually are. This is called the spotlight fallacy.
As I mentioned in my first post in this thread, leather dashboard adhesive failures are not that common and can happen in any car with one. If it is going to happen to you, it will likely happen very early on. Don't let the remote possibility of leather dashboard adhesive failure dissuade you from buying a 3LT in the color scheme you want.
A lot of options for some are for bragging rights more than anything else. When I get the chance to order my Vette I will keep it as simple as possible, which is why I'll refrain from including Z51 or Mag Ride. From my '14 to the '16 one with those options one without, the difference was barely noticeable to me. Granted, it will likely make a difference on a track but my track days are over and I will not contest anyone who has a different perspective. Also, I prefer all weather tires than summer tires, better ride and cheaper to replace.
I feel whether the Vette is basic or premium it is good enough either way.

The only person who should be satisfied with your build and choice of options is you
I am gathering information for when my turn to place the order comes about I can make the best decision with good judgement and the least amount of risks. Because of my age I feel this will be my one, only, and likely last shot at getting a Corvette therefore I have to be sure and rely on people who know more about the C8 than I do, and by reading many threads so far I noticed there are not only plenty of knowledgeable members willing to help but very straight forward as well. All I can do in return is express my gratitude and hopefully be able help others by contributing when possible.

Good luck on your journey toward a new C8 and please be sure to post pics when you take delivery
Again, I agree the risk is there, but if you decide to purchase a C8, and the only color combo you are interested in is Arctic White with a Natural Dipped interior, you have to go with 3LT. The same is true of all "dipped" interior colors.
When my wife was researching what she wanted in a C8 HTC, it was that color combo or nothing. It is her car, she bought it, and it was that important to her. If it debonds, we'll get it fixed.
If you're fine with the traditional black dashboard or split colors, I agree there is no good reason to purchase the 3LT.
