4 inch look good. 4.5 will fit and some have used them without problems.

I really don't think anyone will care except you two guys. I never heard of Akrapovic until I read this thread. How about posting pics of the tips that you installed. Nobody that buys a Chevrolet is an enthusiast anyway. And, a real enthusiast wouldn't be looking that close at a Chevy.

Went with the 4.5".

I took my car out for the first time after installing the tips. My national Corvette day cruise to the Sonoma coast here in CA. I like the NPP exhaust and the tips seemed to give it a little boost in sound. Good enough for me and saved me a couple of grand and a lot of work. Maybe not for everyone, but an inexpensive simple mod. I just hope some "enthusiast" doesn't laugh out loud as I was warned about in a previous post.🤔

Question? With the bumper on and the tips installed is there enough room to get your hand in there and tighten up those clamps?

Yes. I used a 1/4 inch ratchet with a short socket. Plenty of room. The bolt heads should be facing each other inward.

I want to do this but with plain round stainless tips. I wanted to go with 4.5" but they are all 8.6" or more long. Pretty sure that will stick out too far. How long is everyone's tips

OP, thanks for taking the time to post this and to others that added constructive tips and comments. These types of threads are great for those like me who like to do their own work but are reluctant to dive into something without some type of guidance. Thanks!!
