Hope everyone had a good holiday. I was also able to clear the CEL related to the exhaust install with the Launch Creader Elite for GM. One plus was that the reader actually can tell you when the valves are 'learning' as there is a status box on this one.
Given the price I think I will keep mine too just in case. Never hurts to have a scanner in each car.

Did you have to perform both exhaust valve relearn procedures?

Yes. First time I did not notice that I had fault codes for both. Literally 10 per procedure and I was done.

Thanks! I ordered the unit last night and will be attempting both procedures when it arrives tomorrow.

Local dealer wanted 179.00 per hr said it takes 2 hours to do, WTF ? I purchased this and took 5 seconds thanks for the link!

I picked up a creater elite also but can somebody give me a little direction and how to do the learn? It doesn't seem to be doing anything. Did your show out of range also? I get same info on exhaust valve too.

That's interesting. Mine did not state disabled, inactive, or out of range. Have you fully updated the device? I did prior to using mine. I'm out of town now but next week I can plug back in and get you a screenshot of what mine looks like. I would not adjust any of the valve arms yet at this time.

If your dealer is installing the Borla S-type then why do you need a link to the document? Your dealer has access and will use it to relearn the exhaust. My dealer installed the Borla S-type and did the re-learn.
