Scanners/Clearing codes "Tech guys"
I have question for the tech guys here, I just changed seatbelts in my C8Z. Even though I had the battery disconnected, when I reconnected I threw a "service restraint system" warning on my dashboard. Does the basic Amazon scan tool have the ability to clear this code? THANK YOU!

also try leaving the battery disconnected overnight and see if it clears

If it doesn't affect start/run operation, try driving it a few miles, stop, turn off, rest, then start, drive a few miles, rinse, repeat.
Sometimes the CEL will clear when it "learns" the problem has been resolved (belt replaced/functional).
