Ordered today :)
How do you like the PPF look on the car. Any pics? What ceramic coat you put on it. Did you ceramic coat the rest of the car yet?
Here in Sarasota I received a quote for Xpel full coverage for $6,800 which includes professionally applied Ceramic coating on the whole car. This was from a quality shop who works on very high end cars.

But what a ripoff PPF is. I have much better things to spend $10K on, not to mention Ive never had an issue with my C7Z with any paint problems, and that car has over 30K miles on it.
I just did paint correction,. ceramic coating, and some wax and thats all you really need in my opinion. PPF nothing but a money grab.

I used Gyeon Mohs Evo Pure. I used one of their coatings years ago on my 2017 Camaro and it worked really well. Extremely hydrophobic and just now is starting to wear off a bit (I only drive it about 1500 miles per year if that).
The Pure is much thicker than the other coating i used, The previous one was very thin and I did 3 coats. The Pure is much thicker and almost sticky but goes on very easy and you can wipe it off up to 10 minutes after application.
It may not be commercial quality but like I said, their products seem to work well....I'll see how this one reacts to water when I wash it.
I also got their coating for rims, going to wait until I get the aftermarket set I have on order to use it. It will make brake dust hopefully stick less and just be overall easier to clean which with black is what I want. The less I have to physically touch the car the better.
In a perfect world though, i think I would have love to have the whole car wrapped and ceramic over it but $11k for a whole car rap I couldn't justify. Hope I don't regret that by once cry once rule
Polyaspartic is the only way to go IMO.
As for the tiles with the holes....I thought about that, at least sand etc will fall underneath and the floor will look cleaner, but at what point does the it get too dirty underneath? I'm not taking them apart or sliding them outside to vacuum. Drop little parts, say goodbye to those as well and you still have the issue with them easily stained, denting, breaking, scratching and warping if in the sun. I'd pass but that's just me.
BTW, a piece of useless knowledge, the key fob can survive a wash in the washing machine as well as a round in the dryer...ugh...
Forgot it in my pocket but it still works....not recommended of course but just in case lol
Again, I've never worked with this company but they are amazing. Very responsive, very professional and their products look top notch!
I would certainly recommend them if you are considering swapping out wheels on your Z.

They are on the way from Canada as of this morning, hopefully be here next week and then I can hopefully get the tires mounted quickly.
I'll definitely post pictures when they are done!
