Thanks for remembering Peter.............

Mrs. Orr ( That's Bobby's Mom IAN) said you could use the courtyard area right beside the parking area for drinks etc. Nice shade trees benches etc.

Anyone wishing to make the trip that is not signed up, contact Roy ESarge. His room and ticket are available. The deadline to cancel the room has expired and he needs to get rid of both ticket and room.

Roy is going to put the room guarantee on his credit card instead of mine, so deal directly with him.

I'm working on it. I have a few issues to deal with to make it happen. One of which is the lack of windshield wipers. Taking it to the Spa next week for a final "go over" from Devon and Dave. If I get the green light from the boys, I will bring her. Wish me luck.

Hope it goes well. It's a long trip, the final go over is a really good plan. Here's hoping for a "green light"

Next week will be a cooker in Granville according to TWN. Man I can't wait

Peter,

Drugstore has the chairs in stock but not on sale. I'll let you make the decision when you get here. Almost double what the guys paid last year

Way to go Peter Copy/paste below just to be sure it is not missed...

Just so everyone knows, I'll be carrying some basic tools, booster cables and a socket set. I'm trying to get my hands on a small scissor jack. We needed one last week going to Mosport, a great thing to have on a long trip like this.

Here's the launch and trip down plan for Thursday morning:
East-End gang meets at the Petro-Canada at Salem/Kingston Rd. at 5:45 AM.
Roll through pick-up for Ray at Liverpool Rd ramp on the 401
Meet everyone else at Mark's Timmie's store in Mississauga (Mavis & Central Parkway) at 7 AM.
Grab some breakfast and hit the road at 7:30.
Stop at duty-free in Fort Erie and pick up supplies (should be around 8:45).
Hit the border around 9 AM. Remember when you cross the border to stay to the right and pick up the 190 South.
** Do not wait for everyone else after you cross, it just causes problems**
Take the 190 to I90 West and we will re-group at the Angola service centre. It's the one with the McDonalds in the middle that you use the bridge to walk to and is about 17 miles from where we get on I90. We can fill up the tanks there and dispatch the morning coffees.
We'll stop for lunch and fill up along the way and hit Granville between 4 and 5.
Remember guys, we are at the Buxton Inn this year not the Granville Inn. It is right across the street from the Granville Inn so after we make that final turn onto East Broadway you will turn right into the parking lot not left.

Here's the map route:

Things to Remember
Passports
Coolers
Chairs to watch the race
Cameras
Sun screen
US $
Radios (Channel 5)
