Looks like we may see a bit of rain, although not much:

We always see a bit of rain on the way down to Ohio, and Atlanta ... and Sebring ... it's a tradition!

Not sure if you guys are interested in doing this or not but we did it on our Bloomington trip and it turned out to be one of the highlights. We searched along the route to find a place to eat that had been featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives".

For the Mid-Ohio route I found one that is about 3 miles off the highway on the East side of Cleveland. Here's a link to their menu.

http://www.geracisrestaurant.net/menu.html

Chime in here or wait until Thursday to weigh in on whether this interests you or whether you just want to stop for fast food along the highway.

I love that show. I'm in! I think it would be fun. See what the rest of the gang thinks.

I regret to inform you that Z06T9 will not be making the trek this year. Too many issues still to iron out and not enough time to address them. I'm disappointed for sure.

Great idea Peter. My only comment is that looks like a big heavy mid day meal, and probably not served up too quickly service wise.

Any chance of finding something from that show more quick and "road house" like?

Regardless, I'm in for what the group decides and think anything but fast food is a worth a shot.

Brent,, think that's the wise choice, would be different if we were
travelling in Canada but if somethin happened down there,, would
be not fun,,,,,

As for the diner thing,,, I'm more inclined to keep eating time to a mininum and get there to enjoy some cold bevy's,,,,

I'm ready to rock,, just had Darren change the fluids,, and he
just got Roy's new wheel installed,,,,looks great,,,

Thanx Steve. Feels great too! Much nicer than the stock wheel. DSVettes were great to deal with and fast too!

Yeah, sad, but maybe likely for the best. This trip is hard on the cars, and definitely not one for a shake down run.

Next year right? Plus plenty of local runs still to be had
