Default Hows this for engine?

How will a LPE 74219 cam and AFR 190 heads be on a zz4 short block auto? I want to later get a super ram, 52mm throttle body, and headers but cant right now. Will the 74219 cam work with the zz4 short block without any other mods? Will the cam wrk with the stock computer? Will the AFR heads be good enough for over 400 horse power with the super ram an headers? Should I consider a new torque converter? The heads and cam are taking almost all of my money so I cant get anything much after them. How much HP and torque can I expect from this combo?

My answers are in bold in the Quoted text below:

Should work fine.. I would go with 60cc heads to keep the compression up. you could do 58cc to match the ZZ4 hed chamber though

I want to later get a super ram, 52mm throttle body, and headers but cant right now. Will the 74219 cam work with the zz4 short block without any other mods?
yes it will work just not to its full potential. if you can get at least the intake base or get your ported out it will help when you install the SR

Will the cam wrk with the stock computer?
Yes the ECM will be fine. Your concern will be with the PROM.. it will work not sure how good.. You may want to invest in the tuning equipment and learn to program PROMS yourself

Will the AFR heads be good enough for over 400 horse power with the super ram an headers?
Flywheel or Rearwheel HP? I would yes to flywheel

Should I consider a new torque converter?
if money allows yes.. get a viglante, I believ they offer one free stall change so when you go from the LTR to the SR you can get the stall changed as well

The heads and cam are taking almost all of my money so I cant get anything much after them. How much HP and torque can I expect from this combo?
I don't do well at guessing HP.. so I won't even try

i think you have good staged plan. Your final combo will be almost a duplicate of mine. when complete, you should have close to 400hp @ around 5300 and 430+TQ @ 4300. A HPerf converter will help you combo at any stage and is a worthwhile mod. You will almost definitely need a custom prom to make the combo work. You have several people on this forum who have gone down this road before you, so you should be able to get valuable help as you go forward. Good luck

Sounds like a sound plan to me. Go for it.
