Oh yeah, this thread is about firearms, etc.

Took my Viper straight to GAT guns where I shot my brand new Sig. 1911 .45 acp, Nickel Rail Gun. For those into 1911 .45 acp **** check out this new sweet piece which I concealed all day today 100% legally with my IL CCW permit I received 3 weeks ago today. No brainer with a good shoulder holster and jacket!

HERE you go from Sig's website:

Needless to say it was a most excellent day!!!!!!

What an idiot!! This guy does not deserve the right to own a firearm, and certainly does not deserve the right to carry one in public IF the facts are accurate and he is a loose cannon like this.

The CCW permit comes with a TON of responsibility and legal consequences and this is a perfect example of a guy who should not be able to own and possess a gun (IF THE FACTS ARE ACCURATAE), b/c one is innocent until proven guilty in this great Country of ours.

My denial popped up yesterday on the website. The guy did the NRA Basic Pistol portion of the class online, and we did our 8 hours for concealed carry II in person at Bass Pro Shops in Bolingbrook and Article 2 for the shooting portion. I kind of think the State is being a little picky on this one, but what I think won't matter on this. I'm going to retake the class in the next few weeks and "appeal" my denial at that point. Not going to let it get me too worked up.
