I am saddened to read of his passing.

I never had the pleasure of meeting the gentleman, but his print on our hobby is unmistakable.

I treasure his book for my mid-year and refer to it constantly.

Sad news. I just picked up his restoration and technical guide yesterday. He could really write some interesting stuff. His contributions will remain everlasting.

He did the same for me when I asked for help after first getting my car. I have always treasured his letter and information he sent back to me.
RIP Noland

I haven't been on this site in a while and just saw this. I'm so sad and my prayers go out to his family.

Noland lives on through the great body of information and unsurpased books he left us and future generations. How fortunate we are that he sacrificed his time to leave that legacy.

Never knew or met him, but we are indebted to him for his work, I was so excited just to see my Sting Ray referenced in his book, I wish all the best for his family he leaves behind he surely will be missed.

Noland was gracious enough to sign my air cleaner cover at the Florida NCRS even in 2004. Its still on my 67 coupe and people always ask about it. RIP Mr Adams.

Me and my brother (we're from Sweden) visited San Francisco in 1993. Since my brother loved Corvettes and had two at the time, he managed to arrange a meeting with Noland. I wasn't into Corvettes so much at that time so I didn't think much of it. I was about to change my mind. It's a long time ago but so I don't remember the details but Noland took really good care of us. He took us to Muir Woods, across the Golden Gate, to see the great trees. He took us to a really nice Corvette dealer that had lots of nice C2s and C1s. We had a great time and he was a really, really nice guy! Cheers to you Noland and thank you for you hospitality that one time, a long time ago!

I worked with Noland in many areas of Corvette research for about 20 years - he was about as fine a gentleman as ever lived, and we had a lot of fun together. RIP, Noland, we'll all miss you.

X2 John. Both of you are truly not only Corvette's finest ever, both of you represent a quality of impeccable character in all aspects of your lives. I will use your own words and say that both of you are the finest gentlemen that I have ever had the pleasure of speaking to either in person, on the phone, or via the internet. Peace to Noland and to you John just a huge thanks and very glad that you are recovering and doing well.
