My good old Faithful! Actually she's been a lot of places. When we bought her We bought her in North Carolina and drove her home to MD. Shortly after, found out that what her odometer read was actually true! (Currently reads 45,000 after owning her about 3 years now) I know the cars whole history. At first I didn't want to do an engine swap on her after finding out how rare of a car it is and that everything was original. (she's got the straight 6) But right before thanksgiving we found a junk 73 olds Delta 88 royale a.k.a land yacht that barely fit into my garage witht the front bumber against the wall. The delta had been in a field for over a year I finally tracked down the owner and he said, take it. So we paid a $100 tow bill and got an olds 350 and trans out of it. Took it out Thanksgiving weekend. Unfortunatly the car is still lurking around the garage. I'm trying to get rid of the damn thing. I would really like to push it off a cliff and use it for target practice but havent' gotten around to that yet. The plan is for my hubby to make the olds his car which means that 350 will go in it and then my buick that I showed you in earlier posts will get to be fixed to my likings. We like to race each other. I've never successfully beaten him though. (the iroc had a 388 stroker we built in it needless to say, my nova's 350 couldn't keep up but wasn't far behind.) Well now that i've talked your ear off, i'll wait to hear from ya.
Hiya Kelly,
Sounds like you have plans for the two X bodies, and I still have an ear In the earlier pics that you posted, the Olds and Buick both looked to be in good condition. I always look at body and frame when picking a car because it is easier to do the mechanics than mess with rust. The one exception to that was when I got the 63 Nova and I paid dearly to bring it back. Just because it was a true Super Sport. It all takes time and money As long as you are enjoying what you do, that is what counts , stay in touch, Bob

lol! I enjoyed that picture. Work has been so crazy. I work in the apartment business so the first of the month is always soooo busy. Bottom line is that I need a computer at my house so I wouldn't have to rely on my work computer so much.
Well, I reckon you gotta get a "puter" for home Yeh, I recall somewhere in your past posts about what you do. Dealing with people can be quite a job! I teach adults in a technical field, and dealing with people can make you LOVE your cars! I'm looking forward to Spring so that I can get out my toys, and they are forecasting snow for Wednesday. I hope you are taking good care of Kelly, way out there in the West! Happy motoring. Keep that Vette between the ditches! Tell the "old man" hi from MD.

Not so sure I like that statement!!!!! Actually its kinda cute. I guess from a man's point of view. LOl So is that yellow vette in the water photoshopped or is that for real?
Just fun. Have no fear - just go racing - LOL. Actually, I use the drag strip more for "test and tune" than for competition. Too much wear and tear on my Baby for competition.
The Vette in the water is a "real deal" - kinda sad huh? The attached picture is even worse! I know how it would feel if it was mine
I hope you are having a good day today.
Take care of my "Homie"! , Bob

That really sucks! (the vette in the water) Do you know where that was? As for the limo vettes, what a coincidense my husband and I were just talking about that Sunday. I've seen the picture of the black one before. My husband being a triples truck driver would love to drive one!!!!!!! Anything extra long and un-normal he wants to drive it! I enjoy going to the track for racing. I hate thinking about my car note when I take the vette though (dont want to hurt her) but for my other cars when they are complete it's on! Hard core racing! I raced a lot back in MD. Anyone at MIR could tell you who I was. Didn't hurt that I was one of few girls with my own car.
Hi Buddy,
That yellow Vette got it's bath in Saint Petersburg, Florida. The intention was to pull a boat out of the water it was a case of "dumb and dumber" Oh well, it was a C4, my least favorite of all Corvettes - LOL
Are things slowing down a bit for you at work?
I'll be back later! , Bob

Sounds like "dumb and dumber" how much more stupid could you be. But it looks like a C5 to me. Yes things have finally started to slow down. I took a day off last friday and when I came back on monday it was like they couldn't function without me. But I do like to be busy. It makes the day go by faster. I cant wait for today and tommorrow to be over. We just joined a vette club here in Vegas and we are going on a cruise Saturday. It will be our first vette cruise so we are really excited.
Hi Kiddo, sorry for neglecting you. LOL
I've been under the weather with the flu bug
By the time you read this, you will have had your Saturday cruise I hope you had a great time Be sure to tell me all about it!
