Default Travel lodging help through Denver to BHC

Going to the Corvette Black Hills Classic in So Dakota: Sioux Falls, Spearfish in July. Taking 50/70 from Napa, CA through Ely, NV. Need lodging suggestions North East Denver location off of 76. Found good lodging in Ft Morgan but Ely to Ft Morgan is a 750 mile drive. I would like to shorten that by about 50 miles so that would put me on the NE corner of Denver. Prefer AAA approved, pet friendly (we'll have our 2 Dachshunds with us - pretty tight fit in our C6 with 2 adults and luggage for 10-days).

Anyone from Denver area going to BHC? Plan to hit Denver Tuesday night 7/14 then drive on into Sioux Falls in Wed 7/15.

Thanks

You might want to consider this La Quinta. It is on the West side of Denver right after you come down from the mountains. Nice area of town, pet friendly, grocery store, starbucks, walmart... on the other side of the highway.

La Quinta Inn

When you get on I-76 in Denver that area is very industrial and I would not advise staying anywhere along that stretch. As you get out of town it turns into the farming community and I can't recommend any hotels in that area, cause I don't know of any.

There are a lot of Motels in the Frisco/Dillon area. Nice area. Nice resturants close by. Plenty of room to walk the dogs.

Yeah...checked out Frisco. We'll probably stay here instead of driving through Denver. Thanks
