Captree is a large parking lot at the end of Ocean Parkway, near Jones Beach in Long Island where on good weather days, hundreds of muscle cars, sports cars and exotics gather on Sunday mornings to hang out, talk and gawk at each others cars. Its really alot of fun. Plus the road getting there is very isolated so there used to be the opportunity to drive fast on that stretch of pavement but lately, there's too many cops around. My signature has a pic from Captree.

Just read at LS1GTO.com about the craziness at Captree, one GTO taken by the police, driver arrested. He should get it back though.
Apparently a ton of cops came to the event and harassed some people, and followed people afterwards. Some even said there was a helicopter up and down the highways after everyone dispersed!
Insane if it's true.
