With Great Sadness

Safety Car
I can’t believe I’m reading this. Since I’ve had my Vette and going to ECS, if John was not working on my car, he was overseeing that all was going well. John was able to see how uptight I was when my car was being serviced and he always put me at ease with his easy going manner and friendly smile. My sincere condolences to his family.

This is truly a tragedy that shouldn't happen in these times we live in. John was the first tech to work his magic in the ECS routine on our C5 and was a great person, Husband, Father, Technician, and good friend to everyone who came in contact with him. He is missed and will be for a very long time. We have lost a very important part of us all in his passing. Our condolences to his family, friends, and co-workers. God Bless Johnny, RIP.

I'd like to get some type of memorial run together for Johnny's family as soon as we can.

This news came as a shock and we are so sorry to hear of Johnny’s passing. We met him a few years ago through ECS and, like with so many others, he became a friend. Our hearts and condolences go out to his family

Wow, I didnt even know he was ill. Last time I saw him he was strong and healthy. He worked on my ride a few times and he always did it perfectly! He was definitely a genuine person which is so rare to find nowadays. He will surely be missed by many.
Rest in Peace John, you are in a better place

Definitely a sad day here at ECS, for a young man to be fine just a few months ago, and here now, is just overwhelming.
Johnny has been a great asset to ECS since his start here several years ago, and will be missed on a professional level, and more importantly, a personal level.
Not that it's much of a consolation, but it is nice to know that his last days prior to going into the hospital were spent on a family vacation to St. Martin. I'm glad he was able to spend his last healthy days with his son and wife, it was almost like he was given a week "pass" since he was fine for the time he was there, even though the doctors did not want him to go. He lasted another half a day here when he returned, and that was the last time we saw him. To think he will never hold his daughter, who is expected in the beginning of December, is just unthinkable.
My most sincere condolences to out to Christine, John jr, and baby.
