I have dime-size chip on the front bumper and another, almost equal
in size, on the front of my black '94. They both look as though its
down to the primer or beyond. Is there a temporary "touch-up"
method or way I can hide these very noticeable blems? I am starting to
really notice them. Thank you.
Touching up these two spots...due to their size...and using a brush...will cover these spots...and it will be to whether or not you want to spend the time to try to get them smooth and flat. WITHOUT PHOTO'S...clean these areas well...and go purchase touch up paint from either the dealer or a automotive parts supply house that carries the small touch up paint bottles. By using your "WA" number...which is located on the white option code sticker (at the bottom) that either should be located inside your glove box, under your console lid or behind the seat in the compartment area. Use that "WA" number and go get some paint. BUT ...the chances that the paint matches perfectly is a "hit-or-miss" situation.
I used this product and was very happy with the result. Get the touch-up paint for your car, build up the chip area with paint so it is higher than the rest of the surface and smooth with Langka. Worth the money and there should be plenty left for future chips. http://www.langka.com/ Dave
