GREAT WORK!!!
AS for you worrying that all of your exposed raw fiberglass is coated I at thin layer of VPA. You really do not need to make sure it is 100% coated. When you are applying the VPA on an area of exposed fiberglass. What you are doing is filling in any micro small pinholes thtamay be itneh resin due ot tiw as not vacuummbagged. And when oyu caot the are in the VPA and mash down hard with your spreader to fill in any of these 'suspected pinholes'...When you sand it back down and if you leave only the VPA in THOSE pinholes you are good to go.
You are doing this step to reduce the possibility that when you prime it you will need to go in on any exposed pinholes that will more than likely NOT fill in when you prime it and fill them in individually with the premier and using a toothpick or pin so you can put a small drop in each and every pinhole that now will look like a crater.
If I miscommunicated this to you and it has caused you grief and extra work I apologize.
GREAT JOB once again.
DUB
Now that you covered it again for me, I DO recall you mentioning that.....I should have checked my notes from our discussion. I'm sorry to make you type that all again. I REALLY APPRECIATE your time, input, and interest, Dub. This would still be languishing in the garage and I'd be discouraged had it not been for your help.
I'll get more pics up as I progress! Again, Dub, your contributions to make this possible cannot be over stated!
All my best,
Rob
