What...did you win the fricken Lottery or something ?? Do you ever work at a job for money like the rest of poor slobs ???
I think that Kurt may be slightly shell shocked by all the resent breakage issues lately.I doubt if we'll see him at the track anytime in the near future.Sometimes it's just nice to be able to enjoy your ride (a fast one at that) until that urge for that 10.0x time slip returns.
well said dave...this is my DD and it hurt not having one for 3 weeks...im going to enjoy it over the summer and try for my 10 second slip again this fall....its your guys' turns to get out there and get us some action to read of....me and blu have spent enough on repairs this year
put my pass seat in, vacuumed my car out, jacked up the rear and tightened those 2 bolts, took it for a spin...its really rich at idle so it puffs a little black smoke(prob cuz the 6 more degrees of overlap i have now vs the old cam), but it drives good and feels strong (compared to the wifes honda ive been driving for a few weeks)...didnt get on it cuz im breaking in a trans and diff again...might do a little logging/tuning later, wipe down the interior, wash the outside, as well as a thourough garage cleaning and tool gathering
need to put it on a lift and double check rear end fluid as a little spilled out as i was putting it in the car, also need to do a oil change, and a final lug nut tq.

Washing? Vacuuming? Cleaning? Next thing we know, you'll be hanging out in C5 General posting things like
"Hey guys, I just washed my car - here's some pics!"

Damn, Kurt turned into an old man with one build...
Looks like I'll be dynoing may 2nd....I'll try and dial in the street tune as close as i can in the next couple weeks...may load a COS 3 for driveability...
Question for you guys
...what do you think would work better...3 options
-Buy a spare 85 mm maf...and hog the guts and leave the IAT sensor
-IPS built 4" metal tube going from my vararam to my tbody...they have a car with the same setup in the shop to mock it up on...bung welded for IAT sensor
-Find a hard plastic or metal tube to put in place of the maf and buy a IAT sensor and mount elsewhere in my intake tract
pros and cons...
-option 1 will look factory and i wont have to hack up my 5 pin wiring harness that goes to the maf....prob wont flow as well as option 2 or 3
-option 2...will this be as good as a bridge?...isnt the point of the wide bridge to increase velocity in the intake tract?....clean and cool looking...cons...will have to hack up my 5 pin hardness and separate the 2 wires for my IAT sensor
-option 3...pretty much a mix of 1 and 2....and will have to hack up my wiring harness for the IAT sensor
take your pick boys...should be worth 5-6rwhp and i dont use the maf anyways since im SD tuned
I was pulling 8-9 Kpa's on a bridge setup. I did a 4" down tube and a 100mm MAF. I should have some dyno numbers next week. We'll see if it helps. You do have to lay the rad down. I still have some clean up to do.
