I've got mine apart and going over every inch. Pulled the clutch. It looked great, but I'm sending it for a rebuild anyway. Taking no chances....

We do need some ball bustin here. Fran96ss does have more customers with some strong C6Z's out there racing. Not saying other shops dont have fast C6Z's out there. Just saying we've seen alot of Frans work at the track recently putting out some other car records. I looked at the fast list on C6Z's and I'm not sure what to think there. Why isnt there some going alot faster with Heads/Cam or even bolt ons?

RobZ could you give us a glimpse into the future of bolt on C6Z ET/MPH range from say a black car.... LOL at most of Frans cars are black too

You are the guy who has been posting alot of strong times with various setups so we need a benchmark.
Plus we need more smack talk for the MIR event. I want to organize some heads up events. Hope you can bring some cars.
Wait until you see this Cam only C6Z we are about to finish. Its gonna set the cam only bar HIGH!!!!!!! Mark my word on that. Give us about 2 weeks and i will have some numbers.

Bruce fix your car, then push it into your garage, and put it inside a giant plastic bubble until the MIR rental. I would also steel reinforce the roof of the garage in case of a random meteor event, with your luck.

Well I guess we know who's getting the stick on weights put on their front rim.... I think i'ved saved up about 1lbs of stick on weights for the person who rags me the most about my POS edition rear exploding machine

Strong stock car on street tires with very strong driving in great weather with great track prep-11.0-11.1's at 125-127mph-dyno 455-465ish RWHP
All of the above with Headers,offroad xpipe,M2W on catback, Vararam,100mm MAF, ported TB,tuned very well and DR's on the back-10.5x's-10.75's at 131-133mph-dyno 490-515rwhp
Go skinnies on the front, lightest rear tire/rim combo, stars align, driving to perfection, -1500DA, perfect cold weather track prep with no wind 10.4x at 134mph.

On paper that is the absolute quickest that a bolt ons only/stock internals C6 Z06 should run but something tells me that Gary's car will still manage to break through even that number in due time.
A 9.9 is actually possible
providing that nature cooperates and every minute detail goes exactly as planned and I would think as a worst case scenario that a 10.2x@135+mph is almost likely.
This is all assuming of course that the car is still bolt ons only and that they didn't just cam the thing and will simply shoot for 9s on the first pass out.

BTW what pressure do you run in the hoosiers Gary? My buddy just picked up a set for his c6z and we're looking to do some shakedown passes this weekend.

Gary's transmission is stock....And still a bolt on only car. Think you are mixed up with Robz.
