WTF is that???????? ROBZ'S THROWIN ZINGERS AT EVERYONE TODAY!!!!!!!! Sonafa!!!!!!!!
Well I guess we know who's getting the stick on weights put on their front rim.... I think i'ved saved up about 1lbs of stick on weights for the person who rags me the most about my POS edition rear exploding machine
Whats your car trap with a serious front end vibration RobZ???
My guess honestly thinking of a C6Z's should go like this....
Strong stock car on street tires with very strong driving in great weather with great track prep-11.0-11.1's at 125-127mph-dyno 455-465ish RWHP
All of the above with Headers, offroad xpipe,M2W on catback, Vararam,100mm MAF, ported TB,tuned very well and DR's on the back-10.5x's-10.75's at 131-133mph-dyno 490-515rwhp
Go skinnies on the front, lightest rear tire/rim combo, stars align, driving to perfection, -1500DA, perfect cold weather track prep with no wind 10.4x at 134mph.
Tell me how I did RobZ..... trust me I didnt put much thought into this at all hmmmmmmmm or did I...... Wonder where those #'s came from...... Maybe that will be someone elses goals.....????? HMMMM!
I follow you but my guess is lower for Gary and you.
Gary ran a 10.72ish on a 1.6x on a street night with no weight out.
I have no doubt he'll see some low 1.4x's.
So, lop off .3 right there.
Now he's at your prediction without factoring in air/track prep/weight removal, etc. (his front tires are big).
The math is scary.
Just get your car there I'll help you pull off some low 10's. My buddy's 402 went 10.4 with no weight removal, on a 1.56 60' and average air.
Your car is good for at least 10.2x. Let's get'er done.
You forgot faceplated c5z gear ratios in the tranny, that's worth half a second with someone like gary working the stick
BTW what pressure do you run in the hoosiers Gary? My buddy just picked up a set for his c6z and we're looking to do some shakedown passes this weekend.
Pre,
Gary has a stock trans which is an awesome unit in itself.
Nothing is worth half a second in drag racing and no faceplated trans are out for c5z ratio's(m12). The better the shifter you are the less a faceplated trans helps. The only gain you get if any is that it allows you to hammer those shifts while using the clutch and takes a ton of abuse.
I would start the hoosier drag radials around 18psi cold for a bolton c6zo6 but give us more details on exact tires and mods to car.

THATS IT!!!!!!! Calling the Corvette forum cops.... this is some sort of sexual harassment GARY2004Z06 with you following me to other threads..... However I can unlike Letterman be bribed into letting this things slide for now. You're gonna ruin my suprise!

I thought your faceplated trans was worth ~.3 on your old set-up and I figured c5z 1-3 trans ratios (like 3.90s)would be worth .2 since he isn't changing the rear. Didn't know they wouldn't work, is that why you went back to m6 gearing? Thanks, they're the same tires and wheels as gary ran I believe(275/40 hoosiers on c5z fronts) The car is cammed/geared hoping to run atleast a bolt-on time w/ it
Gary's transmission is stock....And still a bolt on only car. Think you are mixed up with Robz.
Sorry Tommy just trying to think outside the box, I know you guys do...trans replacement is still considered bolt-on right? What about his c5z trans, didn't you go thru it?

Yes it was grinding... Performed a standard H.P. overhaul, nothing crazy.

You too generous with your tenths. lol
I would start around 17 psi and do good burnouts. A cammed c6Z is a beast of a car. Those tires may not be enough for very aggressive launches.
EAAAHHHHH Gots an update mr. pick up 35mph back half guy???? Eahhhhh?? Sorry thats my bad canadian accent
SEBAST IS COMING FOR YOUR GARY!!!!!!!!!!!! I say we bring the Canadian down for some smack talking fast as C6Z racing!!!!!!!!!!
