Are people clueless?
so I'm at atco last night and I'm standing in the staging lanes some dude asks me do I have a DTE brace and I tell him I don't need that **** cause I'm not launching my car hard like that..... so he goes on and tells me that you have to have it or your going to break something... Okay I tell him my rear is built and I have harden output shafts... my car is fine the way I drive it and I'm not dead hooking the car nor will I... So he tells me thats not drag racing!! and he destroyed his rear and other suspension in his vette launching off the rev limiter and I need the brace!!! Once again..... I explain to him look I'm not trying to break **** just to get some 60ft time... and I've seen people break **** even with the brace so...
His response was that he has a vette!!! okay? everyone has a brain doesn't mean they know how to use it!!

Dude I was just telling you that if you dont have it.... YOU WILL DIE!!!!!!!! most like the propeller wheel will split causing major havock in the rear area, catapulting your car end over end into the run out area of the track possibly killing a squirel!!!! NOW I ask you.... "Do you want the brace or not!!!!!!!!!" I wouldnt want a dead squirel that could have baby squirels waiting on their mother/father to come back to the nest... but nooooooooo.... You didnt run a brace and now its BAMBI but with squirels. OH THE HORROR!!!!!!!!!

I broke mine without a brace and have a brace now. Still could break it with or without the brace. I had lots of carnage, it may happen again if I drop the clutch again. My new words of wisdom are, slip the clutch dumb *** and don't forget it. I slipped the clutch the first two passes, I guess I had a fartpipe, I mean brain fart on the third pass.
