At most (all?) Atco private track rentals the normal test & tune/race event entrance isn't even utilized, racers actually enter through the main office entrance/gate on the other side of the track.

We appreciate that you are trying to get a couple of quality cars. However, we'll be shutting down the rental collection on 9/7 and no further cars will be admitted except for the cars that Matt Hauffe of Tune Time will be bringing. (Matt, Rob and I are hosting the event. Rob and I ask our Corvette friends while Matt invites his customers.) If any of these guys wish to attend, just send them to post #2.

With my lack of any experience and a stock car with a few add-ons, I know I'll be lucky to do low 13's. I'm fully aware I'd be a fifth wheel at this event, so no hurt feelings.
Only problem is, you would need to pick them up as I don't think I'll have room. I live 12 miles SW of the track.

Hey, just realized I have a pair of 18" drag radials on thin spokes sitting in my garage, that you are welcome to borrow for the rental. They're well worn, but should still hook fine and will be a huge improvement over the run flats.
Only problem is, you would need to pick them up as I don't think I'll have room. I live 12 miles SW of the track.

Looking forward to the rental
Just changed my rims/tires since I have not been having the best of luck on this year's 15" Weld setup and am going to try last year's CCW drag pack to see how she does on those (Hoosier Quick Time Pro, 28 x 14.5-16 on the rears).
My next purchase may be Hoosiers for the 15" rims since I have not had the best of luck with M/T nor the Goodyears, which I plan to sell.
If anyone would like to purchase a set of M/T ET Drag Slicks (28 x 11.5-15, Bias-Ply, M5 Compound), let me know. They have about eight passes on them and I would be happy to get $100 for the pair, which were over $400, new: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MTT-3057/ -- If $50 a piece is too much, make me an offer.
The Goodyears are still on rims, so not for sale yet. But I think I will be selling them too, once I find a tire that works for me.
