Ok, now I'll be there LOL. 
Hopefully the older tires will give do better than the crappy results you had with the other ones. I'm confident that your rear will hold up just fine on those tires as well.
Oh and remember, you enter the track at the rear entrance, not the usual main gate. 
Just changed my rims/tires since I have not been having the best of luck on this year's 15" Weld setup and am going to try last year's CCW drag pack to see how she does on those (Hoosier Quick Time Pro, 28 x 14.5-16 on the rears).
My next purchase may be Hoosiers for the 15" rims since I have not had the best of luck with M/T nor the Goodyears, which I plan to sell.

Any chance someone will be at the rental that knows how to use a delay box? I understand the concept but never used one and the car we're bringing has an old Dedenbear unit that I would love to try out.

Gary, Rob, anyone... Prior to the rental, can you post/send out some info for dummies like me, such as "What time to arrive", "Were to enter the track/which gate?", etc.
I've only gone to Atco for T&T (no rentals). I did go there many moons ago to attend Jim Harrington's Drag Race school, which was like a rental. But, I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn and therefore not as smart on this topic as I would like

When you drive west on Jackson Road, the track will be on the right. Go past the main entrance and enter from the western entrance.

If the extended forcast proves to be right we could have some very, very good air (for this time of year) at the rental. Right now the day time high is forcast as 68 the low of 52. Lets hope this forcast is correct. If it proves out, I may stay to run in the TT in the night session.

Dave, you should pick an index like 9.50 & dial your car in for the LSX shootout Rumble Class.
Also practice staging, best launch rpm, tire pressure, etc.
Have a plan, just don't go there & make a couple wow passes and learn nothing from it.
