What start time works best for everyone? 10:am, or 11am. I will try to keep things at around a 2 or 2.5 hour time frame.
So figure 10am start, finish 12 - 12:30ish, grubage around 1ish
or
11am start, finish 1 - 1:30ish, grubage around 2ish
I have to get up at 4 to take my folks to the airport, so I'll be up and either time is fine with me.

This sucks...I didn't make it to the Langley event because of rain (you know these things melt ) I'd love to meet and hang out with all my local corvette friends, but stuff just keeps coming up!! Wonder if the fiancée would let me take a few hrs on that Saturday to do this.
Please keep me on the list, and as time grows closer I'll let you know if I can make it, and figure out what dish I need to bring. If I can't make it, maybe I'll throw a B-B-Q at my place soon so I can meet most of ya'll.

Let me know what you'd like me to bring as well. Soda's, chips, cookies, maybe brownies or a cake should all stay fairly well during the drive down from NOVA.

With my driving style..........one of the only safe things to transport short of bottled liquid is Tiramisu.

I have to go get the actual address this weekend, but rally point will be a shopping center on Shore Drive right off the 64 Exits. There are two I have in mind, I am going to get the address of the one with the easiest egress and best condition lot. Will post that Saturday evening.

Went for a ride last night to make driving notes of exact street names and discovered the local PD was generous enough to put one of those "Your Speed Is...." radar things that displays the posted speed, your speed, and snaps a pictures of if you are in excess of said posted speed.
Fortunatly I was behind a soccermommobile and was clocked at three under when I noticed it.

Alright, everything is almost finalized. I just have to wait till all these dang tourist leave to time everything...hopefully I will get that done Tuesday afterwork. (BTW, the person who decided to put the lap timer in the Vette was a genius ) I am waiting for one more phone call that will hopefully get us a cool photo opertunity though.
The foodage situation is going, got sausages and dogs (both from our very own smithfield) and burgers, getting some chicken for yall that don't care for red meat, and even some Bocca () for the veggie eaters. Plenty of sodas, chips, dips, corn (OTC of course), baked beans, potato salad, cookies, not to mention all the fixins for the the burgers/dog, and some other goodies.

Hey guys and gals, right now we are looking at about a 2 hour cruise (give or take about 20 minutes depending on any traffic we may hit on Atlantic Ave.) We were originally slated to meet and leave from the Wa-Wa on Shore Drive (the address is sitting on my desk at the house ) at 10am, but would you guys mind if we pushed back the departure time to 11am?

Thanks Steve
Guys, make sure you bring your cameras. I am working with the guys at the Virginia Beach Airport to get us on the tarmac so we can get a picture with one of the planes. I should hear from them today or tomorrow about if it is a go or not.
Here is a shot I snuck into with the Beach Combers
The only drawback is they said if they have a clear schedual that day we can only get 10 - 12 Vettes on the pad. We will try to do it as diplomatically and fairly as possible, but we will cross that path later.
