First look at long range weather for the auto-X, Saturday temps around 55-59 for highs and a chance of rain late Saturday early Sunday. Again this is long range stuff and could change and probably will.

Weather is looking better. Sat looks great, mostly sunny highs around 55. Sun is parly cloudy highs around 50.

Hey Rick, check your PM.

Most of the time they will let you run a metal car, but they should place you in the X class. Email Debbie or the contacts on the flyer to be sure.

Okay so far it looks like Rick, Tom, Chris, Jed, Andy(Daffy427), Brett(clemsonvette) are going to make it to the auto-X. I think a good meeting place would be the Flying J on I85 near Blacksburg where rt5 and rt198 cross I85.

NOW we have to pick which day. Weather looks slightly better on Sat, but Sun looks okay, too. This could be an outstanding weekend of Vetting with our meeting at the Steak&lube followed by the Kannapolis car show and then auto-Xing on Sunday.

All things being equal I kinda like Sunday better as we can go to QSL and then the car show in Kannapolis. This will also give me a little extra time to prep the car

Hi Guys,

I talked to the guy setting up the events this weekend and he said is is OK to bring a metal car, all are welcome.

For the RCG gang, you should try to do both days, the course will most likely be longer and faster on Sat. You could always plan your meeting here in Anderson. Plus this will be the last NCCC event in the Carolinas until next March.

I won't be running but I will be there both days. If any of you need tools or any help I will have my rig there.

Okay, let's meet at the Flynig J Truckstop near Blacksburg, SC at 6:30 am. That should get us there by 8am which is start of registration which ends at 9am. I'll have my cell.
